Seriously Eugen ?

People paid for the game and we cannot play.

This is real fuckup from Your side.

I think You should consider allow people to be possible to host servers because this is really bad if some day You will decide just shutdown Yours.

That won't be so easy, because currently their account server is making problems. Without the account server there is no multiplayer access, so private servers won't change a thing. Besides, you can already host your own servers.

Yes I host one even.

What I meant by "host servers" is to host account servers. No idea how. But if they can't provide reliable redundant servers for that then it is really bad and doesn't bring good impression for players.

We must have a solution for when the login servers are down.

This really makes me remember that Eugen will pull the plug some time and we will have no multiplayer any more.

Yeah im getting the same thing about can't connect. I tryed loggin into wargame airland battle to see if it would have the same issue and it is so the servers are down? :/

Before we point fingers let's just calm down and hope this issue is resolved fast. The truth is we don't know who's fault it is the servers aren't running at the moment. Maybe it's the datacenter, but also maybe Eugen would only need to reboot the servers for them to work again... We don't know. Since in France Customer Satisfaction isn't really top priority I guess we'll have stay patient. Anticipation for the next game, whenever that may be, is the best joy.

If this is DataCenter down then what the hell DC is it ? Home basement ?

2 day downtime for DC is a disaster in the IT and they would not have customers anymore, so I doubt it is DC.

Servers down, yes that is possible, but as a IT engineer working a lot in ops, I can ask - do they monitor the servers ? Just after the process is down there should be alarm to their ops team, and they should fix the issue (whatever it is), if they don't have monitoring system on their platform that means their ops team sucks ass and they don't know what they doing. This is like kindergarden knowledge, that if You run service - You also monitor Your service and has appropriate tools to react when shit hit the fan.

For example my department knows in approx. 5 minutes after for example mysql process is down on any of the DB servers with timestamp, hostname and this is notification via few channels like SMS, e-mail and messenger chat.

So I assume Eugen doesn't have monitoring on the servers responsible for user logins, or they have but people responsible just don't give a damn because it is bank holiday. But that is disrespect to customers and look really bad.

For example from my exp, in our ops team we have rotating "stand-by" person who respond to incident ALWAYS, doesn't matter is it bank holiday, middle of the night etc.

Looks like Eugen ops manager need to learn a lot. Or they just don't give a damn.
