"Server has not responded in time"

Hello All,

I'm trying to help a friend out, he's having major issues with trying to get Wargame: Red Dragon to work. When he loads into the game and puts in his login information, the game will simply show the loading icon for approximately 15 seconds before coming back with 'The server hasn't responded in time.' He has the ability to play single-player but not multi-player.

Here's a list of things we've tried:
- Verifying Integrity of Game Files
- Reinstalling W:RD
- Changing his Account's Password
- Allowing the application through his Firewall
- Restarting Steam (dozens of times)
- Restarting his PC (dozens of times)
- Making sure his drivers are completely up-to date

He has briefly played the game in the past with no worries (that he can recall) but for the past few months, he's had issues and neither of us can figure out how to fix it. After looking through the forums, there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on how to fix this problem so I thought i'd make a new topic. My friend does also own Steel Division: Normandy 44, we checked that he can access the multi-player features on that. No issues there.

Can anyone help us out?

Hello have you found any solution to the cause of your problems? I am currently experiencing the same issue for steel division 2
