Update 0.95 is live!

To download the full mod, use the link in the opening post. To upgrade from version 0.94, unzip this file and copy the /bin folder into the WG1991 directory in the Mod Manager.

Please buff CIWS back to normal, Can't even do the 2nd korean war campaign cause ASM just survive everything.

The campaigns are really not currently designed to be playable, partially because we've given up on Naval as a bad job. In the course of getting the Tor's LGB interception mechanic to work properly all missiles have been given 30 armour on all sides (so that LGBs don't blow each other up). This doesn't affect land gameplay in any way but will totally ruin naval, so if you are intent on playing the campaigns then I suggest autoresolving all naval engagements and savescumming to ensure that you win them. We'll get around to doing something about the campaigns eventually and developing a robust solution to the naval battles but until then this is a multiplayer/skirmish mod.
What if Wargame stuck to timeframe?

I tried downloading this mod but none of the downloads appear to work. The main page link just brings me to a mediafire page saying "The key you provided for file access was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on MediaFire." I hope I can actually try this mod in the future.

Join the discord and look in the files section. New update versions are always linked there.

Hi all,

no way to install this MOD. I have my game directory set on "programmi(x86)", which is different from the one that modmanagere shows as default. I have followed the instructions so ive changed the file .ini, and followed the right pathway, but no results!

Any help much appreciated.

Hey guys, just played a couple matches with the mod.

Really liking what you've done so far, but a couple points of feedback.

AV-8B and AV-8B Night Attack could have their names switched, so give the NA the Mavericks, and the basic AV-8B the Hydras.

AH-1T IP can use the stock WGRD model and get an authentic Hydra/TOW-2/M197 loadout.

MH-60L should really have either Hellfires or Hydras. While Stingers can be carried on ESSS, they've never been fielded by the 160th SOAR.

I mean, they could. They could equally not. Both aircraft were entirely capable of carrying either the Maverick/Sidewinder or the Hydra/Sidearm loadout with equal efficiency in daylight as far as I'm aware and Wargame doesn't take place at night. The Seacobra has only the TOWs, right? It makes a bit of a change from all the Cobras being clones of each other, to be honest, and it gives Marines the most cost efficient tank killing package in the US helicopter tab, as God intended.

I would be stunned if you can demonstrate definitively that the Nightstalkers have never operated any given system. Regardless, even if the loadout isn't realistic it produces realism. An American opener generally involves at least one MH-60L transport or MH-6 being escorted by a DAP deep beyond the current frontline to go do snakeeater stuff. That's exactly right, whereas with Hellfires they'd just be a crap Apache. Hydras might make them okay in a similar role to the old Mi-8 KT but I rather them doing this. The DAP had a lot of growing pains in vanilla, I think it might have the record for most-reroled unit, but it found its niche as an AA helicopter and it's only gotten better at it in the mod.

I'm loving it. Also loving the F-14B lol

AV-8BNA didn't have any real avionics differences re: Maverick employment, but it did have some structural improvements, i.e. new LERX for a better turn radius and also more chaff and flare dispensers (which could warrant a marginally higher ECM rating)

Also I should probably stop using "never" when talking about SOAR. while not absolute, it's highly unlikely, given the dearth of published accounts of them mounting anything but Hydras (even Hellfires weren't seen until MH-60L IDAP emerged in the early 2010s, since MH-60L didn't have an integral laser designator), and the fact that you don't really actually see anything other than Hydras. while there's always an exception to the rule, I've found that when it comes with SF stuff, trends are generally telling of common usage. It's not much, but one picture of a DAP (pre-production at that) with Stingers versus hordes with Hydras should say something, if anything.

There's plenty of records on this forum of my crusade for the DAP.

Yeah, the Sea Cobra only has TOWs. I wasn't sure if that was an intentional decision or not. If it was, I can see why. Either way, Sea Cobra/Super Cobra combo is exceptional, but the Hydras on the AH-1T would make it a bit more self-sufficient.
