thank you very much for your precious help, but I can not find "group combat" in the module of my unit. I find it in the list of the beginning but I can not select my unit.

If you modified the weapons you should know how to select a unit and where the modules of each units are ? You open GroupCombat the same way you opened the WeaponManager.

Yes excuse me, I did not look right, but I'm stuck at the next step; once I select the list "action" I find (TCompositeHappening) but after I'm lost, I can not find the number string that must be copied. I am not 4 but 3 with the name (map etc ...) please a little help.

Hello, I just picked this game up recently and have gotten around to tweaking it with all sorts of skins and gameplay mods to my liking courtesy of the WG:RD modding community over the years. When there was a mod that caught my eye but either had its original download link broken or that had an outdated installer, a bit of searching and/or work on my part was enough to fix it or replicate its effects myself. There is one lost mod however that I'm having trouble replicating and that is the Bombs & Shells Realism FX mod by Panzerjäger viewtopic.php?f=187&t=46701

I'm still very green to this, so please bear with me. The main issue has been finding the specific instances that I have to change to achieve what I want to do; TSimultaneousActionForActionCallTemplate as mentioned by Panzerjäger in his thread doesn't seem to exist anymore in the latest NDF.win and the TSimultaneousAction that remains seems to have nothing to do with the GFX. What do I look for if I want to remove the projectile trails from artillery and tank-caliber cannons? Please help.

Nevermind my question, I finally found the answer after digging through this thread. Kudos to Col_Sandfurz.

Hi, I've decided to try my hand at modding the coalitions since I couldn't find a mod out there that was up-to-date and JUST changed coalitions. I got the modding suite, opened everything.ndfbin, then TDeckAttributes, but I can't figure out how to actually add new coalitions and determine which nations are in a pre-existing coalition. (These steps were mentioned on page 12). Any help would be appreciated, as would direction to any pre-existing coalition mods that are still up-to-date.

I have not attempted to add a new coalition, but mapping nations to coalitions is very simple.

1. Open TDeckAttributes/MapCoalitionToCountry
2. Double click on the coalition you want to edit
3. Add or remove tablestrings to add or remove nations

Spoiler : :
Nations

USA : US
Britain : UK
France : FR
Germany : RFA
Austrailia : ANZ
Norway : NOR
Denmark : DAN
Sweden : SWE
Canada : CAN
Japan : JAP
South Korea : ROK
Netherlands : HOL
Israel : ISR

Russia : URSS
East Germany : : RDA
Czechoslovakia : TCH
Poland : POL
North Korea : NK
China : CHI
Yugoslavia : YUG
Finland : FIN

Coalitions

Eurocorp : EURO
Commonwealth : CMW
Scandinavia : SCAND
Blue Dragons : BLUEDRAG
Landjut : LAND
Norad : NORAD
Dutch-German Corps : NLGR

Eastern Block : NSWP
Red Dragons : REDDRAG
Baltic Front : FINPOL
Entente : YUGVAK

Here I have changed Germany to the UK within the Dutch-German Corps

I am positive that adding new coalitions is possible, but it would require new localization strings and references in several locations. If you felt like experimenting, I imagine the process is similar to creating deck specializations and year categories. Here is the guide for reference.

Has anyone had the problem with every single unit in the game's module list changing to the exact same 27 modules? I have been working on modding some stuff for over a week now and somehow this just happened after I saved the file. I have no Idea how it happened, because I sure did not do it myself. so now I either have to spend an exorbitant amount of time going through each unit and changing the modules back to their originals, or loose an entire weeks worth of work and start over.

Can mods be installed on OSX? If yes, how?

And where can I find the NDF_win and ZZ_win files as well as the WG profile files on a mac? I can't seem to see them in the fodlers under the steamapp folder. (I'd like to back up my wg profile)

as i stated in the how to thread would be nice if anyone is willing to make video tutorials of some of these things as it would be hard for a novice like me

also some of this info is very old and would need to be updated
