Would any modders be interested in the details behind making a full desert to green conversion?

I was under the impression we still hadn't figured out how to retexture maps? What is this black magic? :D

I hate the dry dust maps so much cause they are ugly and boring to look at.

DATA/WARGAME/PC/430000210/ZZ_2.dat

In this file you will find the glorious ground textures, trees, etc. I haven't gone through it all yet, but you can edit the tilesets of the maps directly; this is aimed more toward conversions or like the Fallout Green mod where it turns the game more into green.

You could retexture the ground, buildings, etc. Perhaps copy your ALB textures into the RD textures. Or you could be like me and do a quick cheap green overlay.

Nice find. We got heightmaps, we got (almost) zone data, we got textures. Not too far away from a real map editor.

Provided someone bothers to do actual maps, mind.
