Revised Campaigns 0.7 - 03/01/15 (update)

Revised Campaign Pack for RD - newest patch supported

There are 4 campaigns revised to become more challenging and interesting. In general power ratio between AI and player
have been shifted from 1:1.5 to 1:3-1:4, but also initial strategic points have been increased in each case so you have
better chance for immediate escalation. Typically more modern units present for both sides of conflict.
All campaigns presented in one pack, just 2 files need to be copied and currently supported version is 610 (latest as of 03/01/15).

1. Climb Narodanaya
- USSR airborn battle groups have been decimated, Air Force have been buffed, navy have been reduced and now to fight Enterprise Task Force you'd have to combine both Minsk and Kuznetsov, also few regiments changed country of origin to Poland and RDA to increase tactical diversity.
- JSDF have been shamelessly increased with new IFVs and modern tanks, added AA and artillery support, big increase in recon.
- US Force got huge buff with helicopters, mostly modern, so they will present very formidable enemy
- in general campaign could be won, but not with frontal approach

2. 2nd Korean War
- French Army reduced drastically (I feel this better represent reality)
- At start you will have 2nd infantry Division USFK, to assist ROK Army
- ROK/JSDF/US Navy have been reduced and need to be used combined to achieve goals
- Chineese and USSR regiments buffed with more modern equipment

3. Bear vs Dragon
- Chineese and NK side of conflict have been changed to West European regiments - RFA, SWE and NOR, as we never had to play them in RD before

4. Pearl of Orient
- ROK side of conflict changed to US force
- This is experimental mod, probably easiest from all pack

May be you should contact Guggy to make a common revised campaign mod (that would be really cool, since both of you are making the campaigns a lot better).
Which are the change made to the modding suite you made ?

I'm searching for a way to alter BG's easier, so I've added BG viewer for TWargameNationDeck class... (dammit c# - c++ all my life). I still think there's a way to auto link decks with their respective campaign decks - I'd add it to mod suite in a snap as soon as it will be cleared. Will pm Guggy - don't keep track of guru's activities - new here yet.

Thank you so much for this. Great effort. I also tried something similar but on much smaller scale. Sheer amount of Japanese groups killed my will to finish it. I also noticed that no matter of BG composition and strength AI acts in similar way so it is probably scripted (attacking same zones, becoming predictable after few playthroughs). Can't wait to test it :D

I've tested it a bit and yes - it is much more interesting, especially combined air groups, fleet needs even more reduction - so it won't be possible to go offensive w/o air support, but it's not quite here yet. There's relations in campaign data tables between BG's. Which one BG should follow which. I think this is how AI made moves. I'm going change this to make AI be proactive. Also I should've started with smallest campaign for beginning - this one presents too many challenges and testing time consumption. Seriously - anyone going to try beta's? Any input?
