RED DAWN 1991 - Mod[name changed] everything still is OP

During my modding tests I made some tests and this made me to make some big mod with big changes. It's very Beta now and the only playable nations now are FRG and Poland, I'm currently working at USSR and USA, later I want to add France, GDR and CSSR.
THIS MOD CHANGES:

VEHICLES
- Vehicles will be buffed to make the very cost effective or/and specialized units. They will have a lower availability than tanks

TANKS
- Price buff for the low end to make these tanks more powerful, however they majors will get more cards of modern and expensive tanks
- Tank guns will be a bit less accurate to give ATGMs and Infantry some more time to hit and to make tank battles a bit slower

NEW PRICE RANGE
- Lord Helmchen once mentioned the idea to double all the prices and the income, to make 5 point increments actually smaller. I like this idea, as it gives us new possibilities to balance the low end without having bad looking prices as 3 or 7 points.

NEW DECK SYSTEM
- More slots and higher number of cards (See OP).

REWORKED AA AND AIR BASED ATGM RANGES
- Closer to RL
- Higher to make the actual value of the range less important, because it will be limited by terrain as in RL

ARTILLERY
- Less powerful against heavy armor, less accurate, more suppression, more splash damage/suppression, massive price changes

HELICOPTERS
- Modern helicopters with ECM will have an ECM value ingame
- Low end models should heavily profit from the ATGM range buff, if they are still too weak, their price will be decreased

PLANES
- Turn radius rules introduced: I’ll set a base turn radius for every airframe for a speed of 900km/h(Mig-29M 250; Mig-29 275; Su-27PU 275; Su-27 300; F-16 300; Super-Hornet 300; F-15 325; Mig-21 325; F-4 350; Mig-23 350; F-14 350; MiG-25 375; MiG-31 375) and +100km/h will mean +25 turn radius and a bomb loadout will also mean +25 turn radius
- Some plane Speeds will be changed to more realistic values, some examples: F-15 to 1100km/h; Su-22, F-104 and MiG-25 to 900 km/h and MiG-29M to 1000km/h
- Low end models should heavily profit from the ATGM range buff, if they are still too weak, their price will be decreased

VIABILITY
- Every unit card should be as viable as any other card. According to this there will be used following balance path (I think Eugen Systems uses the same one, maybe with one difference): 1. Choose a unit 2. Look for Real Life stats 3. Abstract this stats by specific rules 4. Set a price for the unit according to its stats 5. Set the availability of the units inversely proportional to its price and based on its category 6. Set the numbers of cards, based on the real life availability of this units and/or national deck flavor

OVERWORKED SPECIALIZATIONS
- Better bonuses (availability bonus for tanks and availability malus for inf in armored e.g.)
- more units available to specializations every nation will get at least two flavor units which are available for every specialization(two units for NSWP, Scandinavia and Commonwealth Nations; three units for Red Dragons, Blue Dragons and Eurocorp Nations; four units for USSR and USA), this will be for example T-72M1 Wilk and W-3W Sokol for Poland or M1A1, Super Hornet, Longbow and Paladin for the US

NEW STORY BACKGROUND
- To explain that that Warsaw pact is so strong and North Korea has a T-90(and two other units that come with this mod to improve this nation) this mod will include a new historical background, where eastern bloc never collapsed, as they had some positive economic developments in the late 70s and 80s. Moreover China built an alliance with the USSR and North Korea got some massive helps. More details will come later.

NEW UNITS
To include new units it is always necessary to remove another unit. It’s known that there are many unused units in the game files, but that’s not enough to add a high number of new units. So I decided to remove some units that are outdated or very redundant, but more than one time in the game. Moreover I adopted the idea to remove Command-Helicopters. However I left one for every coalition (if it had one). Most of the removed units are soviet units as they have by far more units than any other nation. But don’t worry, they will get strong new units.
I had no idea which units I could add for some nations not mentioned in the following list. If you have any good idea, feel free to tell me. The brits however will get a nice Buff to their Challengers (+2HP ; -1 AV),

What I wanted to achieve with this mod is to include at first obviusly my own ideas( increased missile ranges[for A2G and G2A]; ECM on helicopters; strategic weapons* very rare and expensive but powerfull; more real asymmetrical balance) and some community ideas, as anti helo vikhrs, recon T-80 and higher availability of modern tanks, which I made by a huge remake of the deck system.

I'll say more to it later, because I have no more time now, but I'll leave some pictures here and a download link. I know stuff can be controversary and some stuff might still be unbalanced, but I'll make some explanations later(more likely tomorrow) and say what I additionally want to change.
Especially I will explain why I do this stuff(expecially the new ultra high missile ranges)...

Sidenote: This mod is more for having some fun in the singleplayer ;)

Aims:
- ATGM and AA ranges should be less relevant
- Reduction of Redundance
- More freedom for deck building
- Specializations should become more interesting
- More modern Units on the battlefield
- More "real" asymmetrical Balance, by giving unique capabilities to Units, instead of just making them unfairly priced


General changes
Spoiler : :
-Helicopter based ATGM ranges massivly increased, their ingame value represents their real life value and is calculated by a logarithmic scale, so the Hellfire has a higher range now than the Konkon, while the Vikhr has a higher range than the Hellfire, however the range is not the most important stat of an ATGM anymore, because their range is limited in most cases by LOS...
- Units, that should be common in a 1991 conflict have a much higher number of cards now. However the availabilty of units per card is reduced now, so the number of available deckslots was increased, specialized deck have availabilty bonuses now.
- Artillery changed, HE/AP globally reduced, pact artillery accuracy reduced, while is suppression radius was increased (not in all cases details later)
-loadout changes, especially to planes, soviet planes(excluding Su-27PU and Yak-141) got their R-77 replaced by R-73A, the Yak-141 and Su-27S changed into multirole, MiG-29M changed into ASF, Su-25T with SEAD Missiles instead of A2A Missiles.
- Mi-28 moved to GDR
New Units(additional Units which replace some redundant or useless Units, as BTR-152-ZPTU2):
- Multirole F-14 done
- ASF F-18I will just make a loadout change to the basic F-18
- BTR-90 as Transport with 3 Konkurs-M in work (implemented, but calling an infantry unit with a BTR-90 makes the game crash
- 1995 T-72BU with Shtora,Arena and Invar-missiles done

UPDATE

Because I forgot to copy my latest mod file to a USB-Stick, I cannot work on it during holidays. So I decided to work on the improved tool, instead of working on the mod. Once the tool is finished, the mod will be very fast completed. Up to this point much time might pass, though.
In the meantime I’ll collect ideas which stuff I could implement.

You have to replace the NDF_Win.dat in \...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Wargame Red Dragon\Data\WARGAME\PC\430000585. I recommend to make a safety copy. Then you have to replace your wargame3.exe located in \Steam\...\SteamApps\common\Wargame Red Dragon with the exe you find in \...\Wargame Red Dragon\Data\PC\430000585.
Alternatively you can try to use the mod manager. I never tested it, but I've heard that it is very useful.

Maybe a bit :D But imo the PAH-2 should be one of the most powerful Anti-Tank Helicopters in the game and in my mod it is, in my test it seems to be ok with this price. However , the Top-Models Ka-50, Longbow and PAH-2 are not set in stone, especially not their price. I believe that a unit never can be overpowered just by it stats. Find the right price for a unit and it will be balanced. Having big issues here currently by changing the BM-30, its price is at 260(!) now, but still too powerful and I'm so closed to its base stats. Seriously, it has to be nerfed :D The Mi-28 is now a GDR unit, btw...

I only displayed the Radar AA, the IR-AA matches the ATGM ranges of the helicopters. However, I believe that at ATGMs and AA ranges against helicopters, if ranges are >3000m, do not matter that much anymore, because you nearly never have a free LOS to units that are that far away. Sure test have to be done, and maybe I will buff the Radar systems, but against the KI it worked quite well. My aim is to make ranges less relevant, I want the accuracy and AP to become the most important stats of a missile.

But it only has an availability of 1 at one card. Same with Buk and Patriot, which will have even higher ranges (still <7000m) ;-)
I repaired the BM, everything is working again.

Current state
I made some load out changes to soviet aircraft (much less fighters have R-77s now), with current stats USA should be the No.1 airpower again. Playing the soviets is still fun, Tunguskas and Tors rule, and I split up the T-72BU in a 1991 variant (with lower accuracy than the current T-72BU) and 1995 variant as a new unit, with Arena and Shtora (So the T-72BU has an ECM value now) and a better TGM. I'll upload the new version and add more details to the OP, when I finished the US and the USSR

and the new F-14D with a Multirole loadout (I know the F-14 never had AMRAAMs, but it was planned and we have an alternative history and USSR got much never fielded stuff and its just cooler), price for the F-14 might be too high, however this F-14 really makes fun. btw. It's really an additional unit, not a loadout change to the basic F-14, which still exists :twisted:
