That is awesome. Kinda wish VTOL aircraft in the game worked like this, but that would be opening a can of worms, I guess.

It would also be unrealistic to a horrible degree.

This would be a drop in a sea, given how RD fails at realism in its most basic components such as army composition, missile launcher mechanics, naval combat...

Two wrongs make a right? Sorry, doesn't hold water. VTOL aircraft simply never use hover in combat, unless you want your Harrier to just be carrying a pair of 250lb bombs.

And sorry, not having the same army the same TO&E is a very different class of problem, as is not implementing realistic physics for missile dynamics, and Naval is just all-around broken and doesn't affect anything in the game if you don't play it.

But this here? It's like saying it's fine to have helicopters driving around on the ground like an AFV.
