I keep getting this error every time I try to launch wargame

Thanx. Easily fixed this by importing english localization data from ZZ_Win.ndf.


Yeah, I've recently realized that most of the other localization use identical unit names, it's help tags and the like that are translated.

As a result, I'm in the process of just copy-pasting the A&S names into the other localizations.

I keep getting this error every time I try to launch wargame


Did you copy-paste you back up files out into the main wargame/pc folder by chance? I've noticed this causes a crash.
If not; are you using the auto-installer?

Yes I used the installer and I have also tried manual installation I always get that error when trying to run your mod.

So, went trouble-shooting with Cosmic Pebbles, found the problem eventually;

A&S will crash if you have any decks using the new units from the Dutch DLC.

It's a pain in the ass, but, basically, you can't run A&S so long as you have those decks in your roster. A fix for this would require the integration of A&S into the new DLC, something I don't want to do without either being able to use the Power Crystals tool, or the Word-of-Eugen that no further nation DLC's are coming.

Hey Spectre,
I really like this mod and gave it a little try before bed last night.
I'd like to have a 'good old blast' with it. :)

Today I noticed there was an update to the Red Dragon base game by Eugen and so I checked if the mod required updating too.
(I simply went to the armoury and noticed the Ash and Shadows units weren't there)

I un-installed A&S and I downloaded the 23rd May '16 version of the installer + unit cards and ran the auto installer.
( I downloaded it from the link provided in the initial post of this thread)
Although it seemed to install successfully the mod doesn't appear to be implemented in-game.
No units or unit cards etc.
Please could you provide some guidance/advice as to what I have probably done incorrectly.
