Unfortunetaly, it is not possible to suggest any changes, if you don't want to Czech units to use NATO hardware. In 90's the military industry in Czechoslovakia (actually the only country of former Easter block, except USSR/Russia ofcourse, with advanced military industry) was stoped and disabled by political pressure.
Even technologies already owend by Czech Army and existing in Ash and Shadows, such as IFV/APC Pandur II (originaly GDEL - General Dynamics - European Land Combat Systems) or Polish Rosomak (originaly Finish Patria), have western origins. So the decks are already a bit "westernionalized" and I believe that following this path even more, no matther the game universe, wouled be really interesting and funny to play. It would be also really good for the game balance, with regard to current unbalances between Reds and Blues, to implement such changes into Red decks.
Czech Army is also a profesional army since 2005 and as such it has much better quality of personal, especialy in field of infantry and tanks where the amount of inductees was highiest. So, in the game mechanics - the amount of 'rookies' and 'trained' wouled fall down and the amount of 'hardened' and expecialy 'veteran' and 'elite' would increase.
Would you provide me any contact, where can I reach you with some possible changes? If you would exept some partial "westernization", the change of the deck would by quite big and really interesting, due to these variants of units are not in Western decks.

Are you sure that's the right file? It doesn't have any of the APS or recent unit updates in it.

I have a possible suggestion for a new weapon type. I think it would be pretty cool to have standoff cluster bombs (basically just cluster bombs with a long range. there is both a BLUFOR and REDFOR example of this weapon type.

Western: AGM-154A (this version carries the BLU-97/B munitions)

Eastern: PBK-500U (Carries the SPBE-K munitions)

Both would have 11 AP to fit with other cluster bombs using the same bomblets (CBU-97 & RBK-500 SPBE-D). They fit quite good within the current lore of near-future/current weapons.

I understand this may not be possible with the current engine restrictions but I think it would add a unique weapon type. Perhaps it could be used with Polish or Czech aircraft to give a unique weapon for them.

Thanks for such a great Mod!

Was there a unit that was part of the VDV called "Kopya"? Or is it a hypothetical unit?

The JSOW is a stand-off cluster bomb for the US, although the animation doesn't show it.
I'll have a think about the PBK-500. Not sure I really have the room to put it in.

And no, there is no real life Kopya unit. I just transliterated the word from the english 'spearhead', implying its an advanced attack element with the VDV.

Spectre, would you kindly please rename the Russian inf from Gvardeyskoy Motostrelki to Gvardeyskie Motostrelki in one of the following patches since their current name makes no sense
