Well, you've got to navigate to where you installed Wargame: Red Dragon.

If you don't understand directories, you need more general computer help.

The default install in steam is (from your steam directory): steamapps/common/Wargame Red Dragon/.

If your steam directory is in the default location, it's probably c:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Wargame Red Dragon/, though you should navigate to this directory in the installer just to be sure.

Hello everyone!

A few people have offered to help with the mod before, so now I've got a request;

Are any fans of the mod here artists? I'd like to put together a youtube trailer for the Ash and Shadows mod using a montage of still frame digital art.

It doesn't have to be new, I'm just looking for an overall consistent style through a set. Obviously, you'd need to own the rights to any artworks if you're offering them for use, I don't want people taking other peoples' work and passing it off as their own.

Some examples of images in a style I think would work for this:

https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2014/07/1 ... 60_720.png
https://i.pinimg.com/originals/22/bd/73 ... b97922.jpg

Pop on over to the discord server if you want to have a chat to me about this.

A&S is entirely built in my own time without any monetary compensation, so, sadly, there's practically no budget to pay for anything.

You're in luck, I have some illustration background. Although I decided to pursue different careers meaning that it's been a while since I was motivated to draw stuff, I still have my tablet.

Let me just get a discord name and I will contact you soon.

Hi,
I am using mod with Polish version of the game and everything is working fine except one thing, which is the name of units. It makes mod hard to play since T-14 Armata is named T-72, PL-01 is ASU and so on. Is there any way I/You can change this? I was looking for the solution in forum and downloaded BMG but I cant use this to switch the files. Can You help me in any way?

The mod is only made for the English version of the game. To fix your problem, you would have to change your game's language to English.

I am aware of the issue and have a plan to partially fix things by copying all the modified english into the tables of the other languages. It may not be perfect, but I think Eugen has just used english for most unit names anyway.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

v2.22 is going up.

Some fairly large changes from a balance perspective.

I've adjusted the cost of aircraft for most nations (generally making them cheaper) to reflect the fact that most of the time, SAMs obliterate air attacks almost without question.

I've fixed the remaining hold-outs for SEAD aircraft vision, so, SEAD should be working better now. SEAD aircraft also have lower costs and higher availability since they're kinda vital to any use of air power.

I've also added a handful of [ELINT] recon vehicles, which are basically recon units with similar vision settings to SEAD planes to allow them to detect radar SAMs from a distance. I'm assuming the SAM has to be on for this to work.

I've also increased the stealth penalty when SAMs fire considerably. Hopefully they'll be easier to spot in the moments after they fire now.
All in all, this should make counter-battery of SAMs more regular, force players to relocate their SAMs more often and make large amounts of SAM units cumbersome to keep alive.
It'll need quite a bit of balance testing to get it running well.

Other changes:

Armored aircraft like the A-10 and Su-25 have had their armor buffed

Default deck slot costs adjusted

T72B3 availability increased

The US has had the base availability of its Jets lowered but has been given a +50% bonus to its air tab. The effect of this will be Pure US decks will have lots of planes to call on, but general blue decks will have to make do with far fewer.

Denmark now gets more cards of Hummers

Leo 2A5 DK cost lowered to 165 in line with other 2A5's

Fire animation for CV9035 DK mostly fixed

Polish BMP-Kalina transport given to Polish mech troops

PAC 3 missile speed reduced slightly

Meteor and AAM-4 TDR missile speed increased

'Slow' SAM speed and acceleration reduced slightly

Kutei cost reduced from 30 to 25

Shershen ammo for Podhalski reduced from 18 to 10

Burlat transport added for VDV

Peace puma should now evac after firing its missiles

Maverick missiles have had a range buff.

Japanese Chu-mat SAM range and damage buffed to make it more comparable to BUKs and Patriots

Japanese MLRS aim-time reduced from 30 to 18 seconds, scatter reduced.

Japanese MPMSV vehicle points increased to 60

S-Kor Sandcat ATGM vehicle points reduced to 55

KUB points costs standardized to 65

OSA-AK and OSA-AKM points costs reduced to 40 and 55pts, except for Poland, who got missed and will be adjusted in a later update.

Chinese SRBM and Smerch availability lowered.

M2A1 FSV added for US
