There isn't a lot of real-world variation in the LAW weapons used by most of the Blufor nations. There are Carl-G's, and AT4's everywhere without a great deal of variation, but the Redfor nations seem to have developed a plethora of infantry antitank weapons. This is just reflected in the abundance of redfor infantry AT weapons.

I mean, it just seems that the average LAW stats in REDfor are much more inferior to BLUfor LAW stats.

Really? Most Redfor LAW's are better than blufor.
I'll have a look over them.

Hello Spectre: I'm new in the Forum but I must say, that this is the best mod I played so far. I can help you in case of the Turkish Armed Forces:

LOG: OK

INF: The regular and the Elite Infantry are ok, but I would change the name of the Özel Kuvetler (Special Forces). The most widely used name in the Turkish Army and Media is Bordo Bereliler (Maroon Berets).
https://www.ahaber.com.tr/galeri/turkiy ... -her-sey/4 (some Pictures)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_F ... nd_(Turkey)

And I would also remove the Hücum Troops, because I never heared that these troops exist (Hücum means attack).

I would adopt these two (or one) shock troops type:
First: 1. Komando Tugayı or Kayseri Hava İndirme Tugayı ( 1st Commando Brigade or Kayseri Airborne Brigade) located in the City of Kayseri. These are the only turkish Paratroopers Brigade.
http://www.haberturk.com/gundem/haber/1 ... ndo-tugayi (for some Pictures)
https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/1._Komando_Tugayı
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1st_Comma ... de_(Turkey)

Weapons according to Wikipedia:
Main Weapon: MP3; G3; MPT-76; M4A1 (Low numbers)
Antitank Weapons: standart Turkish like LAW, Gustav, etc.
MG: MG3 or Minimi
Sinper Rifles:JNG-90, KNT-308 (both local Turkish Weapons), Sako TRG, SVD

Second: 5. Komando Tugayi or Hakkari Dağ ve Komando Tugayı ( 5th Commando Brigade or Hakkari Mountain and Commando Brigade) located in the City of Hakkari. These are the most famous Turkish Mountaineers.
http://www.hurriyet.com.tr/galeri-iste- ... e-40376201 (some pictures)
https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakkari_D ... ndo_Tugayı
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakkari_M ... do_Brigade

Weapons are similar to the Paratroopers according to Wikipedia but maybe you can add the: Eryx or the M40 Recoilless Rifle like other Mountain troops or the Eryx but I'm not sure.

You can also add two new Transport options:
The FNSS Pars wheeled Transport with a 25mm Autocannon
Maximum Card: 2 or 3 avaible for all motorized troops
year: 2005 (around)
https://www.fnss.com.tr/en/product/pars-8x8/variants
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FNSS_Pars

Another Transport Option is the Turkish IFV Tulpar
This is a Turkish new Generation IFV with a 30mm Autocannon and another Version with the Mizrak-U ATGM is planned
Maximum Card 1 avaible for the Piyade and other mechanized Infantry
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulpar_(IFV)
https://www.otokar.com/en-us/products/Pages/tulpar.aspx
https://www.otokar.com/en-us/products/D ... tulpar.pdf
https://www.militaryfactory.com/armor/d ... mor_id=684

So that's it for now. I can analyze the other Tabs of the Turkish Army next week if you want.
And have a nice day :)

For the Hücum I just transliterated 'Assault' into turkish. They're not based on any real life unit. I just wanted a name to give something in the heavy asault infantry role. I could potentially rename them to Komando Tugayı, but I kinda like having the flash launchers on them.

I can rename the Özel Kuvetler if Bordo Bereliler.

The Pars would be very similar in role and performance to the BTR-80 or the Yalcin. I'm not sure if I want to slot it in there. If Wikipedia is to be believed it's really lightly armored. Considerably less armored than a LAV.

I'll see if I can fit the Tulpar in though.

Yeah it would be a good idea to change the name of the Hücum to Komando Tugayı and the özel kuvetler to Bordo Bereliler these would be a bit more realistic. And I can understand you to not implement the Mountaineers and the Paratroopers :)

The FNSS Pars is a little less armoured then the BTR-80M (around 2/2/2/1) with a 30mm modern Autocannon. So I would say
BTR-80=FNSS Pars. Another APC is the Otokar Arma but it's not important because it's only a Yalcin with a 12,7mm Machine gun
http://www.army-technology.com/projects ... l-vehicle/
http://www.military-today.com/apc/arma_8x8.htm
https://www.otokar.com/en-us/products/D ... ma-8x8.pdf

And I think The Tulpar should be the best IFV and prototyped.
By the way great work with the Marines and the SAT Commandos :)

SUP: The Anti-Air is well made
I would change some things in the Artillery:
The T-155 Firtina is nothing different then the South Korean K9 Thunder with a own FCS System by ASELSAN. So it should have similar Stats and the same Unit Model like the K9.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-155_Fırtına
http://www.military-today.com/artillery ... irtina.htm
https://www.armyrecognition.com/turkey_ ... video.html

They also have the modern Panther Howitzer with not many shells huge range and low Dispersion like the M110:
https://www.globalsecurity.org/military ... panter.htm
https://www.militaryfactory.com/armor/d ... mor_id=611
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panter_howitzer

They also have two balistic missles the J-600T Yildirim (Thunderbolt) and the T-300 Kasgira. I would implement the T-300 Kasgira because it's nothing different then the Chinese Weishi Rockets built in Liscence:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weishi_Ro ... s.C4.B1rga
http://www.roketsan.com.tr/en/urunler-h ... roketatar/

So Thats it for the Support Tab.

TANK Tab: nothing to change there it's well rounded

So that's it for now I will analyze some other Tabs a few days later. I hope it will help for you 8-)

2.30 is going up. Quite a chunk of changes.

Stealth bonuses for towns and forests has been reduced slightly, again.

General cost and availability buffs, mainly focused on redfor minors.

Skat SEAD UCAV added for Russia
Lijian SEAD UCAV added for China

Mortars have mostly been moved to the vehicle tab, so they don't compete for space with those vital SAMS and SRBMs.

A large number of red aircraft now move at much higher speeds; 'Sprint' ASF's that enter the battlespace with their afterburners on, dashing in and dashing out. So far, they seem to be a bit harder to take down with ground based AA but still get waxed by other ASFs fairly quickly. Mainly Mig 21's and Mig 23's have been buffed, but there are a number of fighters with speed improvements scattered about.
German F4's and French Mirages have also benefited from this change.

I've also buffed the ranges and accuracy on several redfor AA missiles to try and improve parity between redfor and blufor.

Price buffs for Chinese, Polish and Czech tanks

Chinese mortar infantry got a little nerf

'Assault guns' added; 240mm low trajectory howitzers and 240mm mortars to help redfor break town sieges more easily. The Poles get a tank version.

The UK AVRE and the US CEV got a range buff and have gone back to indirect fire.

France gets its AMX AuF1 upgraded to an AuF3

China gets a better Artillery system, and a 120mm wheeled mortar.

hey Spectre, this is a bit of a nitpick but I really liked that one Norwegian Fire Support unit that uses the Carl Gustav M4 as well as having 910m range. It certainly gave the fire support role a more major one to me. Can you bring it back?

Unfortunately, that weapon was a victim of its own success. 910m range allowed it to attack and often stun infantry before they could get within machine gun range (875m or less for most infantry) meaning very few nations had a way to engage infantry armed with the M4 FIST variant. I'd also given it to an ANZAC unit and a Turkish unit. Over-all, they were too powerful.

Norway will be getting some attention in the next update, so it isn't all bad news.

v2.31 patch is up.

Since aircraft cannons don't fire on ground troops any-more, I've upped their damage: HE2 for 20-25mm and HE 3 for 27-30 mm.

There's an assortment of small adjustments to plane ammo count and speed in several nations.
The MP5 has had its RoF lowered but its accuracy improved
The MH-53 for the US has been upgraded to a Pave-Low, with better ECM and optics. Due to the model I used not having attack depictions in its template, the weapons will not have fire animations. The 12HP Blufor helos now have better armor, too.

Chinese Lijain SEAD drone cost reduced
Chinese Air to air missiles have been buffed a little, in line with previous improvements made to redfor missiles.
Tezfa-E cost reduced

I've spent a bit of time trying to improve the play-ability of Norway, Japan and Yugoslavia.

To that end:

Norway:

FSK upgraded to [HEAVY], loadout adjusted, upgraded to 2 cards
Militia re-roled into Coastal Jagers (KystJeger), armed with hellfire missiles
Kystjeger Kommandos added in the recon tab, armed with MP7's, Hellfires and MGL-40's
M-24 Recon tank re-roled into a leopard recon tank
Leopard Marksman added
NM-198 IRIS-T missile carrier added
NM-195 moved to vehicle
Leopard Mjolnir added to the tank tab
CV9050 added
XA-203 added
SH-60 JSM added
MH-53 Pavelow added, a lend-lease from the US, presumably.

Yugoslavia:
BsT M-60 Range and damage improved
Mornaricka Pes made [HEAVY], at the expense of speed
Pradobranci made [HEAVY] at the expense of speed (in these two cases, the infantry are using heavy metal plates, rather than the lighter weight ballistic polymers blufor can manufacture)
Strela 2M/A upgraded to the hypothetical Strela 3M/Han
Drug/Han missile added
Igla missiles added to Gazela transport
Mi-24 Krokodil transport added
Grom-B missile range increased
L-18 turned into SEAD aircraft
L-19 speed improved
Su-30M2 Deda Mraz added
M-84AN recon turned into an M-91 recon
Bov-11 given ELINT capability
Drug missiles added to M-84 tank line

Japan:
F-2 Loadout altered to bombs previously on the F-2 Kai, carries 8 LGB's
F2 Kai given Kongsberg JSMs
Hachi-Kyu Shiki Kai added
CRF infantry given the XM-8 rifle
Kutei given the MP7
Type 90A added
Nana-yon Shiki A rerolled into a Nana-Yon Shiki F
While Japan doesn't have a 'Marine' deck option, several new units have been given the Marine trait so they can be used in Marine coalition decks.

France:

Leclerc Koufra recon tank added
Leclerc Serie XL added
VBMR Griffon added
VBCI and VBCI Serie.2 weapons improved
