Is there any guide about reusing models for different skins? I was thinking about using T-72M1 Wilk model for T-72B, but i didn't find the guide or topic about it. Except for Glorious Trabant thread.

It's in NDF_Win.dat>everything.ndfbin>TUnitesAuSolDescriptor>Modules>AppearenceModel. All you have to do is replace the instance number there to that of the Wilk. However, this means that the T-72B will also use the same Wilk skin.

That's what i want game to do (Wilks have better Kontakt-1 ERA placement and i'm tired to see these soviet tanks without it). I tried it, but game crashes with error.

Mi-24? Yeah, i was thinking about it, but definitely after i finish T-72s and T-80s.

Vasto's camo is USSR's, not modern one and we have no Su-30 realistic camos exept some unusual ones. MiG-29K too.

And yes, your skins are really great !

Thanks.

Regarding planes: There are already lots of skins for Su's, that's why i don't want to make any of them atm. Still no idea what to expect from tomorrow, so i'm just trying to finish all what i want and then i'll do some requests.
Short-list of things i want to do:
- T-72Bs, all of them; probably i'll convert one of Wilks to T-72B Obr.1987, or, T-72B Obr.1987 to T-72B and T-72B1. Original T-72B should have some Kontakt-1.
- T-80s (especially T-80BV)
- Mi-24 (camo patterns are awful)
- MiG-27 (still need some love, but my hands aren't straight enough for that)

Personnaly I like the way how East Geaman T-72S looks, as a base for T-72B/B1. Wilk's ERA blocks are too close to each other.
T-80 reskin is a great idea, espessially T-80U/UM.
And what about "remodelling" T-72 obr.89 with reskinned T-72BU or T-90S model?

Hm. Actually, it is possible to use T-90S model to make some difference from T-72BU. But if i use T-72BU model twice, they will have the same skins.

Well, T-90S is better option IMHO, because it was NEVER sold to NK in real world, so it's camo innacurasy is less important.

The problem is texture itself.
While all T-72s in game having almost the same texture (with few additions), helping to make skins relatively fast (for example, T-72A took just few hours of pure worktime because of sources and masks i already done while working on T-72, excluding that IRL problem delay), T-90 has it's own texture, so, i think it will be hard to make T-90 resemble of T-72B '89 and keep that feel of continuity. I'll try, but definitely after i finish T-72B, T-72B1, T-72B '87 (i think they will be released in one pack because of that Kontakt-1 ERA).
