How to find out how many people downloaded your mod

Oy vey, you can view how many times the file was downloaded on Mediafire too, and it isn't any less popular than Google Drive either.

Also, many people mistake this shortner for some sort of a reflink, so I wouldn't put it up myself. Besides, why would someone need the knowledge of one's mod popularity? Just for him to suddenly stop making things, just because they aren't popular?

ModDB does it.
And the site you are talking about is Game Watcher (formerly Strategy informer). I tried to have some of my mod removed from their website (as they were not uploaded by me and I want control over my work). No answer on that matter yet.

While we're at the topic of dead file hosting sites, was there any WG mod that was hosted on Gamefront, AKA Filefront, AKA why can't I download my BF2 maps anymore, AKA how to kill your userbase in just half a year, AKA redirect to Escapist?
