Terrain texture mods

Should be relatively simple to do right? We can replace textures for models, terrain should work on the same principle. Might even be able to rip from ALB and use them.

Theoretically, yes. I actually started converting a desert map to snow, and it was pretty fun.

There are a lot of texture files that go into maps - each shade of grass, each type of road, each type of tree, each type of mountain, has a seperate texture file. You kinda have to look at all the files and try to figure out which is which. IIRC, the files are in ZZ_2.dat, it could also be in ZZ_4.dat (I'm not at home to check.) However, once you start replacing terrain textures, it becomes a lot of fun and it adds totally new flavors to the game.
