Sir Typhoon wrote:Do you will change only units, or you will change the deck system too? I.e, for example, iirc Razzman suggested a while ago, change the #Mecanized deck, removing 2 slots of infantry in exchange for allowing deploy heavy tanks (Like the Leopard 2A4). Or the idea of #Motorised decks, of increase their infantry slots in 2.

That's a huge change, and while certainly possible is not something we're going to consider just yet

So the Strv 122 will be forever locked with a Leopard 2A5 skin if I understand it correctly, right ?

So will medium MBTs, like the M60 series, get some more love? How about mediums from everywhere else, or do you think that most of them are fine now?

Most likely - at some point. However not right now.

Hey guys, time for another dev diary!

But before I go into it, some other stuff that you might be interested in.

Faust is gone for at least a week up until a month at max. Until he is back, there won't be a public version of the mod, however this gives us the chance to test some more unorthodox and more experimental changes, which we otherwise would not have been able to test (before public release). So once you get your hands on a version, there might very well be some more changes waiting for you ;)

Anyways, enough of that.

Normally Faust would write this one since he was able to claim Field Marshal with this deck, but I'll try my best.
Up until the DLC nations (bar the Netherlands) there was no deck as polarizing as this one. Not rarely we saw people complaining about it either being OP or UP at the same time.
In our mod we do not aim to change its playstyle much. Its units on the lower end are usually rather cost inefficient, especially in terms of infantry. It relies more on expensive units (Burratino, Tanks, Planes) to win trades and is also heavily reliant on supporting vehicles (Burratino, BMPT, BTR-T) in order to win infantry fights.
For now we haven't touched it too much, as more extreme changes might have too big of an impact.
There are no fancy new units to show off and frankly I don't have much time right now, so I'll post the changelist here instead of some screenshots.

Lastly, I would like to mention again that the changelists are not necessarily final and even if some decks won't change until the public version, there is much more to come, once we have said version opened up to the public.
