[Sound modding Release] WMS / Wargame modding suite | 0.8.6

Hey guys,

It just caught me yesterday and I implemented some new features I wanted to have for a long time. Its nothing really game changing but some kind of productivity enhancement.

Changelog from 0.8.5 to the current 0.8.6
  • Hotfix with explaining Setup screen at first startup to specify valid paths for Workspace and Gamespace.
  • You can now open all Folders in Work- and Gamespace in Windows Explorer via contextmenu

  • Development state: BETA
  • Current pub version:v0.8.6

I'm open for all questions and requests in here. I invite all of you guys use the official issue tracker on github listed in the links below! You can use it for feature and change requests as well. In fact, you are officially asked to do so.

I do have a request if you feel inclined.
Within the NDF Editor I'd like the ability to search/filter the "Instance" list like you can with the "Classes" list. Many times I end up searching through hundreds of items for a specific number.

I've discovered two issues in 0.8.4 which I posted on GitHub.

1. As of 0.8.4 the icon to filter the Properties list is missing. The filter button is still there and functional, only the icon is missing.

2. Attempting to open "UnitTypeTokens" on any unit, on any NDF_Win.dat causes an exception to be thrown. This is with existing populated lists, not null references. All other similar lists I've tried function properly.

  • Workspace feature enhanced, we have now a context menu for:
    • importing a workspace file as either TGV, ESS or plain raw data
    • Opening a *.ppk file directly in the EdataManager
