When you put the gun into context of the broader balance of this mod, there is no need IMO.

IMO if the bushmaster was buffed to have comparable DPS with the higher rate of fire autocannons, the M2A2 instantly becomes a 50 point IFV rather than a 40 point IFV. It just becomes so god damn strong if it were to have both A) one of the best autocannons in the game, and B) one of the best ATGMs.

And this is coming from someone who basically thinks the weaknesses of US/Norad are consistently underrated by some of the top players in vanilla, and views the overall lack of cheaper cost effective units as a gaping hole that keeps them from being competitive in 1v1. Which is actually why I quite like this mod because despite the lack of buffs to the bushmaster, the LAV-25 is actually much higher up in the pecking order, and US players can now cost effectively fill the giant holes in their front line between all their very expensive units.

Although now that the US' most expensive tank is 140 points, and they no longer have the the Patriot & Longbow, they actually play a lot more like vanilla Eurocorp does. Even the plane tab tends toward the less expensive side in this mod.

Only 3 Self Propelled HAWK were ever built by the USA, and was remove from service shortly after. The only other nation that operated them is Israel. I purpose that only nations to have MIM-23 HAWK missiles is Israel and USA.

U.S. Army fielded several Self-Propelled HAWK Platoons. These consist of three M727 vehicles, based on M548 tracked Cargo Carrier..... They have now withdrawn from service. Israeli is believed to have a number of these SP launchers still in service.

Absolutely not. We're unable to simulate the towed HAWK batteries that would form the main anti aircraft defence of every BLU nation except the UK and Canada, so our choices are either to leave them swinging in the wind (but for the US and Israel) or give them HAWKs on the M727 chassis to represent the capability without representing the unit. From both an authenticity and a gameplay perspective that seems like a clear choice to me. Eugen made the same decision and were absolutely right in doing so.

There is only one BLUFOR Coalition that actually needs SP-HAWK (Scandinavia), all other coalitions already have SPAAG, Mobile SAMs, and ASF as their air defense. Not too mention SP-HAWK wouldn't be used in 1991.

One of our goals with WARGAME: 1991 was to increase the playability of each nation, not just coalitions. If a nation lacks something, we've tried to add that. The HAWK also fills a different role from other systems like the Rapier, which means it was often necessary to add even for nations with extant SAMs.

Similar considerations have been made for SPAAGs and mortars: the Grkpbv 302 m/84 is in even though Norway and Denmark both have 81mm and 107mm mortars, because Sweden should be as playable as possible on its own.

As an added bonus, this means we can be more flexible about modifying, adding, and removing Coalitions, because we haven't intentionally left nations with gaping lacks we expected a specific other nation to fill.

Hello im having rouble launching the mod with the downloader you provided is there a way you can make it work with the official wargame mod installer

USA is similar - I don't see why Rangers should be Elite Commandos instead of Shock Light Infantry, give that back to Delta Force with the Faustmann MP5/LAW A4/Stoner 63 or Minimi combo.

Delta hunted SCUDs and took them out with .50 cal sniper rifles. I'm SURE they did more, but this is what's available.

Rangers took part in more "traditional" warfare tasks.

When talking about the Army, I think it's safe to say that Rangers are the elite fighting force, while Delta are more specialized. I think it makes more sense for Delta to be a recon commando unit in Wargame.

Possibly, but Throwaway's installer is more space efficient and allows you to revert your game to vanilla easily. The most common issue we've had is that the settings.ini file doesn't point to the right place. If you open it up in notepad you can change it to use the directory that your copy of Red Dragon is installed to.
