Is 25 the maximum the engine can handle?

For armor, yes. For KE-AP it goes up to 30, but I have omitted this since nothing in game goes higher than 24.

You might want to include it for calculating superheavy combat at closer range.

Is this chart based on in-game testing or a formula, if its a formula can you post it pls
this data looks like is is from the WEE formula ap-av+1, because for instance the 10ap vs 1 av using ALBs formula would be (10-1)/2+1 or 5.5, but in the chart it says 10dmg

That's a very good point, I have now added it in. But I also took the idea further and added in another sheet after KE "KE Range Tables" for ease of such calculations. Start KE is from 24 for 2275m guns, as I am accounting for an upcoming patch that tones the M1A2 down to 24KE. I've even done some autocannons too :)

Dat COMVAT/BOFORS

This chart is based on a damage array in the game files. While there might have been a formula used to create the numbers, the in game results are all according to the values here.

Also, you clearly didn't see my ALB damage chart if you're using that outdated formula :)

Great stuff, I like the blank range KE changes and the lessened bump due to the removed 4x multiplier (even though it currently messes with clusters, who should get a slight AP buff across the board)

One question about HE, does SPAAGS count as small arms? (Otherwise what is the point of armor one on aircraft)

For armory warriors who just want a rule of thumb when theory crafting here are some important points to remember.

VS low armor:
AP 3 = 6hp armor 0
AP 5 = one shot armor 0
AP 10 = one shot armor 1

Else:
AP 3 over armor = 2,5hp (four shot)
AP 5 over armor = 3,5hp (three shot)
AP 8 over armor = 5hp (two shot)
HEAT AP 14 over armor = one shot
KE AP 18 over armor = one shot

NOTE At 350m all KE weapons will fire, but unlike ALB they do not auto-penetrate. If the weapon doesn't have enough AP, it will only deal crits. So no more KPVT killing M1A1's from the front!
This seems like a stealth nerf to A-10s and SU-25s
