I'll start it off with

Royal Saudi Land and Air Forces


One of the quirks is that air mobility in the Saudi army doesn't seem to be a thing, leading to a very tiny inventory of transport helicopters. So I'm afraid it's command squads and recon only.

Unfortunately it's hard to get a squad that's legit in all their kit + transport.

The Jager's AT weapon is wrong, but the G3, MG3, and transport are right.

The M72 LAW, AT4 and M60 from Riflemen and the M240 from Light Riflemen are inauthentic but the Saudis have 400 M2 Bradleys and a ton of Humvees and that should be represented.

Stormere in NM113 are legit from head to toe, though; unfortunately the Panzerfaust 3 is a prototype, otherwise Panzergrenadiere 90s would work.

Commandos 90 work if you accept the Minimi as a substitute for the l.MG3.

Canadian Airborne 85 are OK if you really need that LAV III.

There's no way around the RBS 56's transport, just pretend it's a modern armored Humvee.

I haven't found any information on Saudi MANPADS.

I've actually enjoyed making a Yom Kippur war Israeli deck ... granted i used Canadian Airborne as my 'line' infantry. And M60A1 ERA's are awesome IMO

Also for 'competitiveness ' and Realism i tend to use Challanger's as Merekava's due to in my opinion a closer resemblance of the Merekava , the Merk is kind a bastard child between a Leopard , Abrams , Challanger and T-90.

On a separate note i occasionally use 90's Fusileers in Warriors as my IDF line infantry when i'm making a 'modern' deck.

LAW80's acting as MATADOR's , L85's as TAR-21's and the L86 just kinda fills in , to be totally authentic should be a M240 as it's the closest to the Negev NG7

Warriors .... yes i know the IDF currently operates no autocannon IFV's BUT they are considering throwing 30mm cannons on their current IFV's so i can bend the rules a bit...ish....smeh..

The more I look into it the more I think Iraq would actually be a really interesting (and actually quite powerful) country in Wargame.
