He`s doing quite well for his second game, but I don`t see anything special in terms of apm in the video(his resource spending could be better and mapcontrol with inf in buildings could also be better, but again, quite good for 2nd game).

What I`m trying to say I guess, I`m not for "game should be able to be played at a high level with only 40 apm" or something like that, but I think it would add comfort to have a little more zoom options. My position is, that if the game offers higher zoom, and therefore maybe reduces the required apm to compete at a certain level by 5-10% vs an opponent who doesn`t have that option it would be a good thing to add that zoom option.

Idk if you have played it, but in wargame (competitve conquest) you also need decent apm(especially at the start, you are at quite at a disadvantage if you don`t have good apm and use hotkeys and move-/attackmove-/unloadqueues.

Late game I just play mostly in satellite mode lol.... Tactics pretty well go out the window then you just need a better army.

Actually that dude could lower his apm, if he would queue more commands, especially with recon.

And there is still a difference between having to micro and not being able to get an overview of the map. :roll:

The current zoom terrible! Too close to ground, need to be further for camera

terrible zoom currently, need to be changed. Really like the camera system in wargame, full view of battlefield.

although it don't need to be that level, would still be good to have larger view

The level of zoom out is terrible. The screen coverage you get it very low because of this. Perhaps we are spoilt from Wargame series however this seems like a massive massive step back. I would like to say that i agree with you.The level of zoom is not well adjusted.For instance act of war had much better zoom scale.I hope Eugen Systems will do something to fix this issue because bad zoom out really affects the gameplay.

I mean, Have you ever played R.U.S.E?

If the answer is a yes, I'm sure that you aren't disgust the RUSE's zoom. And I think that Eugen could win a lot of wargame gamers

My first impression was as well that one should be able to zoom out further. I guess you kinda adapt to it as time goes by, but still it would be nice if it would be possible.

I would also like the ability to zoom out a bit more. Right now it's good for micro, but horrible for macro.

I agree that the current FoV is to small but if they would make the FoV 50 percent bigger it would be fine.
