I somewhat agree. IMO, Act of War felt more serious; its soundtrack and visuals gave you a feeling of a world in crisis.

Act of Aggression felt more like "ROCK'N'ROLL, F**K YEAH!"

Agree with OP. The audio and visuals make it seem like a game for teens/kids...

Voices for Soldiers are cartoony, C-movie like, especially in comparison to the audio from Act of War or the Wargame series.

I am baffled by the direction this game has gone. As previous posters also said, isn't this supposed to be a serious future war/world in crisis game?

Some of the voices arent so hot, but I dont think this was meant to be a super-serious war game either. It was... it was a step above C&C Generals in terms of the intended "seriousness" of it, if that helps put things in perspective?

Below World in Conflict, above C&C Generals is what I'd say was the intended spot.

High Treason also had a kick ass soundtrack. This one is not as good.

Funny thing, rts with "base building" will appreciate only old-school players who grew up on games like Red Alert. But Eugen made AOA oriented for kids.
Same approach was used by gray goo, and it failed. Eugen didnt learned from others mistakes.

I for one have enjoyed it thus far. Sizes could use some love (ref and planes are huge). Excited for more colors to pick for your team. Also want to buy more zooming out and right click scrolling.

Yes to much like a comic. Atgms fire from 50m. A nuclear bomb is not eben a B5. The tanks need a camo paint job and get rid of the color.

PLanes are too big, weak, and badly implemented.
