True, MGS TUSK 0, still not really a suprise there, they are crap against Abrams TUSK 0, why would they not against fully uppgraded Terminator ?

Looks very overpowered. One unit that can engage everything? Great. It will be just like AoW apache spam.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Abrams will probably mop the floor with it,especially with TUSK plus US can get CIWS on LAV,HMMV, and Osprey, etc . TUSK I Stryker MGS will also perform much better against it than the base models in the video due to 2x health and RoF(IIRC?) buff.

I feel that against the Cartel the BMPT might be more survivable in open combat, as the Cartel's MBT is probably less survivable. Ofc they also have Gauss cannons to balance out the equation.

Someone needs to do us all a favor and get a nerf thread going. This balance ruining abomination must be stopped before it is too late.

Wonder what its HP is going to be. That'll be a big factor in how it fares versus Cartel especially.

In addition to anti-aircraft missiles, Terminator may also be upgraded with Ataka anti-tank missiles, granting it an extra level of firepower and range against armored vehicles.

So, Terminator vs Abrams will be like

How could you know that without knowing how expensive this unit is?

For all we know, the BMPT could be overpriced and/or have overpriced upgrades. It is far too soon to pronounce judgement.

The videos indicate that the BMPT cannot mount every upgrade. It can get e.g ATGMs or Iglas, but not both. So they won't really be able to engage everything.

The post points out that the BMPT has a CIWS system by default, and you can see in the video that they're shooting down all of the ATGMs fired by the missile Strykers.

So the BMPTs were only taking fire from the gun Strykers, which they (smartly) knocked out first. In a sense, it was really 2 BMPTs against 3 MGS Strykers, which weren't upgraded, while the BMPTs were.

If it had been six MGS Strykers, that probably would have gone differently. But even then its still 6 non-upgraded light vehicles against two fully upgraded heavy vehicles specializing in anti-tank.

It's not overpowered, they just put it into the most ideal match-up possible.

It can't engage everything, because the weapon systems upgrades are mutually exclusive. So it can be upgraded to engage armor, or air or infantry, but not all three.

The idea behind the Chimera play-style is they can upgrade their core units to engage any threat, but they can only upgrade them in one direction.

Actually, they were knocked out first because they arrived first, what was smart was to prioritize shooting down ATGM over killing vehicles.
