Hi guys.

I happily found out yesterday that we got a release date out. I looked on Steam and found myself curious about one thing. Will there be a collectors edition or a digital CE? Has anyone of you heard something about it?

I mostly buy collectors editions these days that is why I ask. I don't wanna buy a normal one now just to find out about a cool CE later on.

So if anyone knows something about it, pls let me know.

Thx.

Happy to hear the game is getting pushed back after reading the Some lessons from the VIP Beta and from beta videos it shows the game was quite cumbersome.

This is a very good choice. The game needs to be more accessible if it hopes to garner a big audience. I love the depth and layers, but the opening parts need simplified so you done have a high bounce rate.

Well at least they have given themselves a chance. As others have said early game is far too cumbersome and boring. A push back gives them a chance to fix this. That doesn't mean they will - but this is the first step that was needed.

We know they aren't making Generals 2 - but if there is one thing they absolutely need to copy from Generals it is the pace of the game. The beta build that we all played was no where near that pace. Hopefully this push back is about steering the game back into that mold.

I think this is a smart move by Eugen, it at least acknowledges that they may have missed the mark in the first iteration of the game. Whether they have correctly identified the problem remains to be seen, but step 1 as they say is admission.

Well the few months of early access testing with access to all 3 factions will be even more useful feedback. Hopefully that starts sooner than later.

Good choice to put the game back a few months! I would rather a more polished experience! Thumbs up from me!

Has the Wargame series has been pretty much full featured for early access? I hope it has AI it helps so many players get started.
