Need help for countering

Hello. I didn't know exactly where to post this so I thought I just do it here.

I was having some trouble finding the best way to counter a certain strategy used multiple times on me. I am having trouble dealing with mass MG nest placement. I typically play Chimera and Cartel, and one issue I run into is the massive amounts of MG nests when playing against U.S. This typically happens mid game when I'm trying to advance. Instead of having a large army, the opponent stacks massive amounts of MG nests back to back. They keep doing this and I can't really stop it. With their very decent HP, it eventually becomes this non stop growing wall that keeps pushing me back.

What is the best counter to this tactic? I'm sure there are many mistakes I am making in this replay, and I'm sure there is a simple answer of "Simple. Have a bigger army to squish it before it starts." However, I was just looking for some advice on how to counter leading up to that point (look out for it), and when it starts, what should I do to make it stop .

If you say they make many MG nests instead of building units then you have to make siege weapons. And gradually destroy every building in front of you. Send units in front to have the vision on the nests and your artillery will do the rest.

Block the road from they are coming and Ambush the construction trucks with anti véhicule

I also occured the tactic once. In the beginning already.

I stopped the first ones with 2 Pumas+8 SAS (with my 3-barracks-tactic) (you can destroy single ones with that) and the laters with upgrated tigers.
Place the tigers in their formation and just at the border of line of sight.
if they dont fire, move them forward a small step towards the mg-nest.
Tigers have the (slightly) larger range and many other advantages (over Rhinos imo) as they can also deal with army forces (including some pantsirs or Blazers!) and excape/repair quick (and they have the same /similar (?) price also).
With 4-5 Tigers you can clear the whole planet if you use them right!

Maybe I can make some efforts to find the replay I have played there two times or once. I have to crawl over hundret replays for this though... If I had the time I had fun to do so. But this is the first aid maybe.

I still offer you my anti-MGS-Replay (wondering for how many threads it is useful) for the How-to-Pumas+SAS+Tigers-Build-up and the same will also work against MG-Nests. I Promise!

Artillery Units will help.

Arty will do wonder against mass nest, need scouting tho. If he did it early game, just have to hold on i guess. It is broken if the player know how to use it.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will try some of the suggestions given here. I will utilize Arty. and tigres more to suppress the mass of MG nests.

P.S. - I have this color name tag cause I was in the Wargame Red Dragon beta, and they forgot to change my color name tag back to normal. I like it though .

Artillery will sort that out pretty fast. Either the basic one from the light vehicles bay (Sword) or the rocket artillery of the Valor (Sword). The grenadiers with the NLOS upgrade if you choose to go shield.

Other than that, build fenneks. They are stealth and have the smoke ability. Fire smoke at the MG nests to render them unable to shoot and use the fire position command (Hotkey: T) to fire into the smoke.

SAS with the upgrade will do A lot of damage to base defences too.
