Scroll problem with VSR on AMD GPU

Postby Whiplash » Tue 4 Aug 2015 22:28

Hi,

I tested AMDs new Virtual Super Resolution feature by running the game in 1920x1200 vs my panel's native 1680x1050. It runs just fine, but the mouse doesn't seem to detect the edges of the screen correctly. I can scroll up and left, but not down or right.

Running Windows 10 x64 with a Radeon R9 380 on Catalyst 15.7.1.

I also noticed that when I put the resolution to anything lower than 1920 x 1080, the screen does not pan to the right or down with the mouse. It does with the keys though. Do I have to change a monitor setting or video card setting if I want to lower the game resolution?

Edit: I did notice though , that if you run the auto settings after you change your resolution, then the panning will work with the mouse and you will retain the lower resolution.

Edit 2: Then I went to the desktop and when I came back to the game, the panning did not work with the mouse to the right and down (at the lower resolution).

I found a great work-around in another post. You simply toggle v-sync off and on again. Works flawlessly.
