What's happening behind the iron curtain?

Postby thenosh » Tue 31 Jan 2017 10:51

A question asked multiple times via teamspeak or ingame over the last few days. It's been two months now and since MadMat is probably on holiday eversince, I decided to open a thread myself. What is happening? Will there be another Nation Pack? Or a Wargame 4? God forbid an AoA 2? ;).
What do you people prefer? Another Nation Pack? Maybe Maps? Or a brand new Wargame 4? Even maybe just a content/balance patch? Discuss.

I would like to see ww2 game, but with wargame mechanics, except that I don't want the laser precision I see in wargame. I would also like to see weather seriously impact unit capabilites, to the point when you can't call in for air support nor engage enemy at maximum range. Many things could be done, but it would require a lot of work. Something like blitzkrieg, but on wargame scale. Imagine the 10v10 games. :D
And no hero units that need babysitting.
Edit: Not to mention desert maps, winter maps and each terrain affecting units accordingly. But we've already discussed this, I think there is a thread, and people were against ww2 scenario because it was done too many times in games. Perhaps ww1?
2nd Edit : Spanish civil war? Or is it not worth consideration?

I would like to see some of the maps in ALB and EE donated and transplanted into RD.
Much kisses, many love,

I wish they make bulgaria and romania for a yugo coalition, drop entente
also still keep buffing red dragon which is still the weakest, buff the infantry and planes, not tanks.

Official modding tools with map editor and the ability to import models. Everything else will come on it's own then.

I want a scifi wargame with very, very flavorful factions.

Wish list:

1. China/NK balance patch
2. Balance patch for non DLC nations
3. WG 4 in south east Europe, with 1991 CAT B, 1985 CAT C and no timeline extension.

This so much!
Although 2 coalition partners are too much for Yugo.
YUROM would be so great!
