Time will tell.

Not really, the scale is close to that of Wargame (maps that are a few kilometer wide).

Btw the range scale is 1:1 so we won't see the Wargame system anymore, which should make things more realistic (speeds are).

I may give it a try but only if Eugen gets new Wargame developed. New Wargame is overdue.

Am intrigued how Air Power will work as those are much slower and only relied on Guns to take out each other.
Also hope that the P47 is as good in bombing tanks as I am with it in WarThunder. ;)
Also towable Artillery, Anti-Tank-Guns and AA. :)

Hope they don't include Naval at all.
If at all only riverine/coast-patrol class ships.

How can they not include naval if "Normandy" is part of the title?

because naval sucks and the fighting mostly happens on land.

Will be this instead of Wargame. In fact, it is a wargame but other setting and maybe other focus on. Definitely looking forward to it! Yay!

PTAB anti tank bombs from a P40 warhawk?

It's actually a Yak-9B, it had four tubular bomb "bays" behind the cockpit which allowed it to carry 4x100kg FAB-100 or 4xPTAB cassettes (32 PTAB eacy). It was less useful than the IL-2 in the role due to less armor however with the bombs gone it could do a good job of fighting its way out.
Projectnordic in game! will likely see you on pact/red dragons/french!

Thanks should have recognised it played enough IL 2 as a kid and a few months ago read an article about the plane in flypast

I see your Nighthawk but not as stealthy or heavily armed and raise you...

...pre-patch Kurnass. Faster, harder hitting, better defensive armament and generally more likely to get home alive.

While we're on the topic of anti-shipping Dornier 217s:

I mean, sure, it totally ruined your aircraft structurally whenever you fired it but that thing is going to cause some serious damage.
What if Wargame stuck to timeframe?

Mosquito tetse was a better aircraft automatic 6pdr plus RP3s! they also did a test with a 3.7inch gun I think on a mosquito it worked well but by this point the war was over they just wanted to see if it worked
