Postby thenosh » Wed 1 Mar 2017 21:23

Am I late or why isn't there a thread about this already?

When I hoped they would make a WWII Wargame is was hoping for something more globally oriented. But if we are lucky(?) Paradox' DLC policy might even finally bring us China and some other interesting things in a WWII game.

Because you will soon be told this sub-forum is not the right place to post the thread. You shall go to Paradox forum to discuss.

Anway, RIP Wargame Red Dragon.

Well they are looking at the market, which is mostly US, but also at the game mechanics. Pre 1944 the infantry would have been using gammon bombs and Hawkins mines for anti tank defence, In Normandy all sides have rpg equivalents. Given that the intent appears to be a RD style multi player, they might also have been looking to eliminate horse drawn transport.

They will finally need to fix guns for air to air combat, and what heavy AA looks like will be interesting, as will naval.

Heavy AA probably would be like Otomatic with lower ROF.
