I'm actually liking the guess of a Luftwaffe Felddivision (What a concept!). IIRC, it's a while since I took a proper look at them, they'll be heavy on Flak and I'd imagine they'd have plentiful air support from Goring (mostly of the 'hot' type) but they were chronically short on armour and AT that wasn't direct-firing AA. An interesting Division to play with if I'm right about their equipment, probably good in a 4v4 to challenge allied air dominance and fight in an area that tanks won't.

Well, I didn't really see any obvious missing choices, so 1st SS Panzer was just "most famous not yet included" pick. I actually considered Luftwaffe Field divisions, but my impression is that they were basically just subpar light infantry divisions that didn't really stand out in any way other than name, and I doubt that they would be included purely as "junkers spam" division.

709th Infantry Division (Static)
352nd Infantry Division
91st Air Landing Division
3rd Fallschirmjäger Division
17th SS Panzergrenadier Division Götz von Berlichingen
21st Panzer Division
12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend
Panzer Lehr Division
1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler

Getting closer ... although not yet entirely accurate.

Would it be "entirely accurate" if I replaced 709th static with 243rd Static? I noticed that latter may have French bias advantage in tanks ;)

Godd example ... and one which is actually featured ingame. ;)

Well, there's 100% total confirmation of the 6th Airborne Division in case anybody wanted it.

I think the decision between the 1st and 29th is ultimately going to come down to name cachet. The Blue and Gray just don't quite have the same fame and even if they have more interesting equipment... well, that's what the DLC system is for, isn't it ;) .

Are those the guys with the Renault R35s? I thought that was 91. Luftlande?

Well, since the 6th was the only out of two British AB divisions in this TO&E to be involved in Normandy, and we've already showcased Pegasus Bridge & Tetrarchs in recent screenshots, it was as obvious as the identity of the French & Polish divisions ... ;)

Kinda accurate :) Maybe some other assets like 6.th Fallschirmjäger and propably some other more stuff as detachments?

Pointe du Hoc right? I've been there. The land's still all bumpy from the shells, you can see where the French guns were kept and there's still some German bunkers left.

Point Du Hoc was done by a Ranger battalion. The 1st Infantry Division (big red one), landed at Omaha.
