I noticed this flash past while going over the stream again. This is extremely interesting IMO, the Hawker Typhoon is the iconic rocket firing aircraft of the Second World War (No, Russia, the IL-2 is famous for PTABs). If it's armed with bombs in Steel Division, that may imply there are no rockets in the game at all.

Given that that seems to only be a single 500lb bomb I wonder if the Tiffy is going to be a dive bomber.

May just be an armament option, we saw that you could bring HE and napalm loadouts on the same mosquito airframe so I'm just holding out hope that they have a menagerie of armament options for each given airframe they put in.

My hope is that they don't repeat the air loadouts regime from RD/ALB, the loadout variety on the mosquitos in stream gives be hope there'll be more freedom in that respect.

No assumptions, only supposition.

The napalm Mossies were separately named as the Mosquito Pathfinder, presumably in representation of the Pathfinder squadrons that used a variety of bombers to drop incendiaries onto targets during British night raids to create fires for the Strategic Bombers to home in on. I'd be interested to see evidence of Mosquitos using napalm in daylight tactical support missions over Europe.

The fact that there are two different names for the same aircraft makes me think that the name game from ALB/RD is back but the criterion for what's in a name might be somewhat relaxed. We might receive a 'Rocket Typhoon'. Equally, the British rocket carrier might be a Beaufighter or a Swordfish or something. The worst case scenario is that Britain doesn't get rockets because the French Tiffy has rockets and, of course, we can't duplicate loadouts   .
What if Wargame stuck to timeframe?

In the stream I saw what appeared to be a R35.

After the stream showing off the deck creation we can safely say that there is nothing to worry about here, there is bomb armed "Typhoon" and rocket armed "Typhoon AT" available for that division.

(at least I hope they showed that, I haven't actually watched the stream)
