Well, to be honest, i miss the Red Devil and the Pegasus.
I just hate the 15th infantry (u have to get either the AT infantry or commander for infantry anti-tank weapons, and they ALL come with the vehicle that have extra charges which i absolutely DO NOT WANT ... ) and don't get me started on the recons ( damn recon units also ALL have to come with vehicles with have extra charges which i absolutely DO NOT WANT ... ). Not to mention the AT guns inphase C (Jesus they still come with the god damned vehicles that have extra charges which i absolutely DO NOT WANT ... ) and the minor firepower the artillery has compare to the other divisions. I know that Eugen wants us to use vhicles to support infantries instead of artillery at least for this division but i just hate this - i miss the Pegasus !
Oh almost forgot the 91st FJD, i have no idea about what am i supposed to do with the super armor strength the enemies have to throw at my face while playing this division - i know i gotta make use of the Pak40 & FJ & call-in artillery &bf109 & Hs129 which are my advabtagies but i just hate the experience of playing this division - the StuG can't do anything when against Churchill ( Crocodile in phase A) or Sherman, not to mention the phase C. Plus i could not find any light vehicles to support my infantries when the tanks can't do shit i have to coward behind the anti-tank guns which can only has the effective range of 1000m while the enemies tanks have 1200m ! I know i gotta use the 88mm anti-air gun but the two of those got destroyed by enemy artillery or even bombers even i have one on the run while the other is firing - I miss the Red Devil !
In short, are there going to be any new divisions to be added into the open-beta ? Cuz i'm seriously dying while playing the 91st and the 15th ! Btw i hate panzer-divisions ... and i know i'm being a little bitch here, but i just hate the way it is to play those two divisions the right way so i just get defeated very often. Again, are there going to be any new divisions to be added into the open-beta?
And the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division looks good !

I just started with the 91. Luftlande, playing against Easy AI which is usually scottish.
You have strong tanks (Avre, crocodile, Support churcill 11ap), quite decent 6pdr, and they are meant to balance the 2 main divisions out. That means: They must be supposed to be good against armor.
With the 91. Luftlande I figured out what my AT power is. Obviously I have a AT plane right from start. But its not easy to keep it alive after its 1. run, because I have usually no money to counter for the obligatoy dog fighters hunting me
If I could/would invest into escort, It could survive quite easily, sometimes I get a plane with my fighter bombers.
But I have at least 1 15AP Pak40 which holds the ground when not diing right at start, and did you see that Artillery with 9 AP? well It does not really stand against tanks alone, but with some support it can help, its a pretty versatile unit.
Only after those 3 units, I start to use the weaker AT options.
The medium AI is what I still struggle with. If I am fast enough, I can beat it, I already did, but it needs a lot of concentration and fast acting, which I am not capable of yet (in this game). Usually, my points collect up to 500 points before I use them, because I dont find a good use, and I dont just want to play blindly my units, instead figure out the game right now.
the best weapon against at guns is flak cannons however. they have high range, and as long as not a tank is making trouble, my flak cannons are VERY effective in supporting my inf.
Thats what I found out so far. Hope it helps.

Divisions will be released incrementally to make balancing them less chaotic.
Best weapon against AT guns is mortars.
There's a general consensus that the Luftlande is really weak at the moment, and that the Scots are the strongest (or at least most flexible) division with their powerful infantry and nigh unkillable AVRE.KampfKeksKrieger wrote:I just started with the 91. IMO it should be a high priority to add at least an Allied Airborne and a German Infantry Division to the beta. This way each side has one of every type of division - Armored, Infantry, and Airborne. Until we have that, balance discussions are kind of moot... we don't have an apples-to-apples comparison because the two sides aren't equal. Allies don't have an Airborne deck, Axis don't have an Infantry deck.

Give the Axis side the KwK and Pak 43s back already. I want to break open all those AVREs and Jumbos to spread some PTSD among Allied tankers!

The 91st was Heer not Luftwaffe, it was trained as a Grenadier division. It was not Fallschirmjager in terms of equipment, morale, or training and not equivalent to allied airborne.
