When you get attacked, can you see which units out of their surrounding eligible units are attacking you?

When you get attacked can you see what command value the attackers are? i. e. 71/150 or 223/150

What does the red heart shaped icon mean on some infantry units, in tactical resolution?

If a unit nearby a dug in unit is attacked, and I bring the dug in unit to defense, does it retain any bonus for being dug in? Or does it have to be the unit with "attacked" on it?

Will there be mod support? I never played the first one. Also, is the back to Normandy dlc worth it?

What does leveling up do, besides grant steam achievements? I didn't notice any tech tree or the like.
