Sound like you've got 2 EProjectileType enumerations, you should do a folder-wide (ctrl + shift + F in sublimetext2) search for "EProjectileType" and check if it's only defined once as a TBaseClass or something.

I have these two declarations:

Code: Select all

F:\Games2\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Steel Division\Mods\sandboxDraft1\CommonData\Gameplay\Constantes\Enumerations\ProjectileType.ndf:
    1  // Enum ProjectileType // A maintenir synchro avec EugIA_ModernWarfare/ModernWarfareArmeArmure.h
    2: EProjectileType is TBaseClass
    3  (
    4      Obus                             is 0

F:\Games2\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Steel Division\Mods\sandboxDraft1\GameData\Gameplay\Constantes\Enumerations\ProjectileType.ndf:
    1  // Enum ProjectileType // A maintenis synchro avec EugIA_ModernWarfare/ModernWarfareArmeArmure.h
    2: EProjectileType is EProjectileTypeModernWarfare
    3  (
    4  )

Which one should I remove? I didn't edit base.zip - why are there two in the first place? Thanks for the prev response.

I don't have any EProjectileTypeModernWarfare class or \GameData\Gameplay\Constantes\Enumerations\ProjectileType.ndf file... Did you update your mod ? If not, when did you begin working on that mod ?

Thanks for your response DM. It solved because apparently I had to update my modding tools. I deleted the Mods folder, validated cache, remade the mod, and it works now. Thanks again!

Hi round-pink-kirby,

It seems GameData/Map/MapPackMulti.ndf is missing in your mod. Can you please verify your mod folder. You can get it back from base.zip.

hi

thx for fast response

I searched the base_77875 folder but there is no such file. The only file in the Steel Division\Mods\Utils\Legacy\base_77875.zip\GameData\Map folder is MapConstantes.ndf

Maybe you can send me the missing file? Does a reinstall of the game might fix this problem?

This one is an old legacy version of base.zip. You can find the current version under Steel Division/Mods/ModData/base.zip

hi

the file wasnt in any of the base folders. However after i reinstalled steel division all files were there. Everything worked out and i started editing some ndl files but when i try to upload the mod it says:

Failed to update the steam item.
Failed with steam error code 2

(i accepted the steam thing where it asks u to load up your mod)

google doesnt bring up helpful post for this error.

any ideas?

Did you check your config.ini to see if everything is in order?
