How does "attack move" work?
How does "attack move" work?
I want to know, how attak move works? I mean, if you have a squad with 1-2 mg´s, many rifle´s and 1-2 lmg and you use the attack move, does that mean, they stop moving, when they spot enemy at 750 m distance (lmg) and only 1-2 men shoot or do they move unit whole squad is in range (500m or 300m)?
Re: How does "attack move" work?
Attack move I assume - means they fire on the move.
Hunt means they stop and fire until the enemy is dead and then continue.

Re: How does "attack move" work?
Is it really hunt what I mean? the question would be the same, at what distance they stop and shoot?
I mean they have diff. max. ranges in that squad....

Re: How does "attack move" work?
I know with the efficient shot their seems to be a distance and chance setting in options. But not sure about the other commands. Hunt just stops and shoots at anything in max and range I would think.
Re: How does "attack move" work?
Infantry small arms can fire whilst moving, so if you want them to attack a position just move there, most squad lmgs are stationary fire so if you want them to hang back and provide suppression you attack move them so they stop at range.
