Army General - How does air support work?

Postby Buck Turgidson » Thu 20 Jun 2019 20:58

Indeed, how does it work? I have a ground attack squadron available, but it's not like I can do anything with it? It has no special orders. I can't move it either... so how does this work?

Sincerely,

Ok, figured it out! They appear to be just like any troops: you need to select them into the fight as one brigade/battalion/whatever. They're not really a support element, but rather an integral element of your battle.

There is no Bombard button on the unit's info page? It's there for bombers ... and historically ground attack planes were used to harrass logistics/troop movements, not just to support battles.
