the lend lease 6x6 studebaker is listed on the wiki as having a top speed of 72kph, rounded down to 70 in game.

the 4x4 Canadian Military pattern truck is listed on the wiki as having a top speed of 80 kph.

the wiki doesn't have a listed speed for opel blitz, but in game it have a top speed of 90 kph.

the fact that german have a large quantity of 90kph truck while the allies truck are stuck at alround 80 kph is a huge boon to the german. this mean the german can bring up reinforcement faster than the allies can. It's also an advantage for the opening rush since the german infantry in opel blitz will typically get there faster that the allies in studebaker or cmp.

While the allies does have some vehicles that are as fast or faster, they are typically rare (white scout car) or have a lower capacity (jeep). One of the biggest reason the saperi(ppsh) had their satchel removed is because they drive in the fastest vehicle in the game while being equipped with both faust and satchel.

The opel blitz's speed should be nerfed to 80 kph.

The allies have have the Jeep, which is the single fastest transport. Zooming in at 105km/h which evens it out a bit. Jeep rushing will allow the allies to get the point before the Germans.

It definitely feels the allies have a chance to take positions a little quicker, so it balances it out a bit.

The Studebaker and Opel weigh as much as each other, but the Studebaker has about 10 or so more HP than the blitz. But the Blitz is a familiarly of trucks. So I guess it just becomes down to creative licence?
