I would like to have the possibility of reducing or stopping gamespeed in coopmultiplayer battles against ai.

If you do this, I'd like to suggest it be optional (in case you are playing with strangers and don't want to be trolled) by the host during game setup. Also, DEFCON had the nicest approach to multiplayer game speed I've never seen another game adopt. Let all players set the speed they want and the game runs at the slowest speed anyone has chosen. This way people can slow/pause when needed but can unpause/full speed when they are done, without overriding if someone else also wanted slow/pause.

I think I get what you are aiming for. An "oldnslow" speed setting to let newer or older plays have time to micro competatively.

I would quite like that. A 0.75 speed setting (or whatever).

My preferred option would be for that to be a match set-up option (when setting up a match, have to option to set it up in "oldnslow" mode.

I think this would avoid the possible issue roi7 mentioned.

The advantage is mainly accessibility. More people may give multiplayer a try if matches are at a slower pace.

Yeah, the option to slow the game down by about 10-20% would be really appreciated.

Why not just fewer units and smaller maps? Or more players?

I would like to agree we need to slow the game down more in single player.

Multiplayer would be great too if everyone playing agrees on a speed before the match starts.

A pause hotkey (I know the pause menu button) would make things better in single player especially when developing tactics so you can watch it play it out and alter as necessary

Also, removing the time limit would be a big improvement.

This is a beautiful game and I'd really like to see that tactics play out. Right now I lose a lot of units and I don't who/what kills them, or even if they're missing.

This game has a ton of potential.

PS don't want to take away from the guys who are loving it fast and furious just hoping we could accommodate all types.
