Audio not 'snappy' not useful to hint at whats happening

in wargame, the audio of a tank firing, small arms firing or the general UI alerts seem to be so much snappier and obvious than in SD2 & 1. I don't think the audio in SD2 is useful for alerting the player whats happening like it is in wargame, I find i miss units surrendering, coming under attack or planes coming in a lot because the sound effect just isn't there. Can it be made more snappy & sharp? Or are there mods that can do this?
