Edit: We were making simultaneous posts and I just noticed Ikalugen mention Stalingrad. I'm not sure Stalingrad would fall under the discussion of bombardment or rushes, unintended siege warfare maybe. I'm thinking more along the line of strategically and tactically, "Biting off more than you can chew."

I was talking on the matter of bombardement being ineffective tool.

Classical rushes happened under Moscow by Moscow militia.

The perfect example of a rush from history would probably be Iran's tactics in the Iran-Iraq war.

Guys, I think we need to remember the fact that this is a noobie help forum instead of a "What World War 2 operation is a rush (Kursk, if we are comparing to W:EE). And if you're going to rush, do it on a flank. It amazes me how many people think that just because you CAN build a bajillion cheap tanks, you should. It is the funniest thing to me when 30 T-34/85s are blown to bits by 8 infantry sqads and a TOW Lynx or two, because they didn't realize that there is a way around the line.

Using your whole army in a "sneaky" flank maneuver
It takes too long and hinders your team.
1 SF did what was planned in a quicker time & less cost.
if your team in't defeated by the time they get there it is usually followed by "who can buy a CV heli"

(The Air version) An armoured recon did it for the fraction of the price.
(Note CV was completely undefended)

Spamming 1 type
Only Patton & wtf is the cv doing

Aftermath

No supplies...

Don't get me started on lack of recon, especially no recon with an airforce.
Arty players who don't buy recon, FOBs or defend their Arty.
Clearing Forests with Heavy Tanks & the player knows AT INF are there.
Having NO AA, when the enemy finds out your doomed.

Unfortunately these players always seem to be on my team.

Saying that someone is spamming artillery when they use recon to snipe ATGM troops and CVs.

That's more a cry of rage than a noob mistake.

They don't use recon.... Try just go balls out without studying the situation.... A good player will know the enemy and deploy the best defenses against it

Hit "Create account" on the login screen, enter the details.
I'm currently running short on time. Hence, it takes some time until I respond. In urgent cases, consider contacting another mod.
