Airland Battle -Performance Tip of the Year-

Postby ch3cooh » Fri 26 Apr 2013 11:49

If you run the Game on a slower PC or on a Laptop:

Just put "Shader Quality" to "Very Low".
Doubles your framerate by making the image less blurry.

Unsurprisingly - Betas tend to not use much of the full-on features, visuals in particular.

High vs Low almost no difference - very low =double performance.
As for now it is THE Tip Pal.

I'm surprised anyone is having trouble running this game to begin with. Any half-decent system should chew through it

Well there's your problem. Notebooks aren't for gaming. ALB is a game. Go figure.

Real reaso to drop shaders to very low is not because FPS gain but to get game actually look better and not a soft art. The FPS gain is just side effect ;)

They should fix the graphic but where trees and ground gets too quickly rendered off in simple form.

1. No one takes PCs to their friends anymore.

2. Even on an average PC low Shader and high Texture/Model/Ground gives you a much clearer and better image than the auto setting.
