Stealth changes in v303/306

Postby Tigga » Tue 7 May 2013 21:48

So, as with all patches... there've been some steath changes!

Thusfar I have noticed:
All AP 5 cluster bombs dropped to AP 4.
Tornado GR1 105 cluster bombs dropped from AP 7 to AP 5.

This is going to have a pretty big impact on cluster-boming armour, though I would doubt anything with top armour 0-1 will survive.

Any others noticed?

I can confirm they dropped Mk 20 Rokeye II from 5 to 4 AP.

Also, very annoying with stealth changes since it makes it harder to keep spreadsheets up to date.

Was the F-111D always 90pts? F-111F is 115, F117 Nighthawk is now at 150 with 8 Accuracy. I remember that being higher as well.

Nope, the cost dropped by 10 points apparently.
BECAUSE HUNTING CHALLENGERS WITH MIG-31S WAS TOO EASY :

I'm pretty sure it was 100 yesterday.

This may sound like a dumb question but..
How does Stealth affect units exactly?
I know unit size makes them hide better.
But I've noticed stealth on say air planes. Is this supposed to hide them?

Same with tanks, is a stealthy tank less likely to be seen? Can a very big tank be very stealthy and how does it affect the way it's spotted?

More "I think this was different yesterday" changes:

Mig-29S at 165 (wasn't it 160?)

Yaks at 50/70 respectively (I remember this being 10pts higher each)
