Rewind in a replay?

Postby Faxx2 » Sun 4 Aug 2013 03:28

Is there a chance/way to get a rewind button in the replays?

I think not because from what I have heard a replay is actually some AIs playing the game with the exact same moves we did

No way it could be true. There is too much random in this game for AI replaying moves would result in the same outcome.

Well I don't mean exactly a game by the ai, I mean the concept is similar, I personally do not quite remember the explanation I've seen co I can only try to crudely point you in the right direction

The replay is actually a game where all the orders (and results)are predetermined so the game happens exactly as it did

The explanation is right. As long as you think these replays as videos, you get it wrong. Therefore, you can't rewind it, not more than you can de-cook a meal.

I mean how hard can it be if it is a saved log Of the orders to simply scroll back through the orders?

They would have to completely re-design the entire replay system we were told.
