Only ADATS buff i would approve is availability buff to 2 cards of max 4 units. And only if there wont be any new canadian AA unit.

1. the game doesn't model real-life stats
2. giving it your suggestions would make it blatantly OP
3. canada is plenty powerful for a minor nation as it is
4. there's a reason the adats was only used by 1 nation and is already phased out(even though it's supposedly so revolutionary)

Iris wrote:It baffles me why the range of its weapon is so low in comparison to other weapon systems in game. The ADATS has a range of 10km versus air and ground targets.

Proposal:

Ground Range: More than 2800 and around 3000
Helo Range: Had an equal range to the 9M311-M1 so 3500m is justifiable
Plane Range: Easily justifiable anywhere from 2800 to 3500m.

Accuracy:

Nerf it 1-2 points.

This thing is a marvel of all things really awesome and Canadian, but is really underrepresented. Plus it fixes any issues Canada has with enemy planes going pew pew on it.

You're missing 1 thing, either give it F&F missiles or let it keep guiding the missile past it's range on planes.

Yeah the Buk has 200km range...of course

Around 140-150 km IIRC.

Haha. No.

Radar detection range =/= engagement range. ;)

More like 30km engagement range.

On topic:
Just give Canada a couple more ADATS. They're still stupid easy to attack with aircraft.

In the real world the ADATS missile is a beam rider, not IR or radar guided, for it to hit a plane would be a big ask.
EuroFighter = Rafale make it so in game

Radar guided missiles ride a "beam" too. ;)

The issue isn't how a projectile is guided. This issue is how the target is tracked.

ADATS has a radar on it IRL...

Does ot work like the PIVADS where it doesn't actually actually track it but only measure range?

The radar is for target acquisition and identification not for guiding the missile. ;)
