Modding Wargame: AirLand Battle

Postby Hob_Gadling » Tue 27 Aug 2013 21:32

Mod tool status: aaaaaand they're here

What's the official position? Can I create a custom unit database and spread it around or will it end up getting people banned from multiplayer?

Let me rephrase to be more clear. I am not asking for mod tools. I am asking whether I can spread a mod I made without getting anyone banned for playing it in multi.

Really! Who needs modders? After all, ALB sold half a million copies!

Sure, let's settle for half a million. I'm sure Bohemia Interactive are glad they didn't.

They definitely need to bring modding to the table in Red Dragon. I don't expect them to for this iteration though.

That's sort of irrelevant by now. All I want to know is if people will get banned.

they don't have to do anything. personally glad there's no modding to segregate the community

Hopefully no banning :( An official statement would be cool though
