As you know, DLC 2 will feature new units. This time, they will be distributed more evenly, for every nation will get one.
So, without spoiling too much, here is what new stuff you'll get:
- 4 planes.
- 1 helicopter.
- 2 tanks.
- 4 infantry units.
- 1 SPAAG.
Among which are 4 prototypes ... and 1 SEAD plane!
I let you do the guessing ...
But to give you a bit of a tease, meet:
#1 (USA) SMAW:
SMAW would be American Tank Hunter team, like the Canadian MAW, E-German Panzerjäger & CSSR Pancerov(...), and not an ATGM team (from the stats a Super Dragon, you should be thankful of that ). Yet, being a 1984+ unit, only available in CatA decks, it shall prove more efficient than the laters.
Also, being a USMC-only weapon, in thematic decks SMAW will only be available to Marine decks.
#2 (France) Mirage F1CT
Always in sight,
Always out of reach,
I'm carrying eggs worth of gold in my basket.
The Mirage F1CT is a CAS variant of the Mirage F1 200.
It will be a 1988 French prototype, same specifications as the Mirage F1 200 from which it retains the Magic A2A missiles, but with the Mirage 2000's ECM ... and carrying six 450kg Belouga cluster bombs.

#3 (USSR) Mi-24K
I am Hollywood's bad guys' aircraft of choice,
Often impersonated, yet never matched.
I might have lost some of my claws,
But my eyes are sharper than ever ...
This riddle was refering to the Mi-24 (impersonnated, often by disguised French Pumas in many American movies, like Rambo III or Red Dawn) in its recon / artillery observation role, that is the Mi-24K.
The ATGM guidance system has been removed to give room to top notch optics and cameras, hence in game terms giving this 10 HP armored chopper "Exceptional" optics, but armed "only" with the Hinds' Yak-B gatling gun and four S-8 80mm rocket pods.

#4 (W-Germany) F-4F
And I heard as it were the noise of thunder
One of the four hissing snakes saying: come and see and I saw
And behold a grey ghost.
(tribute to Johnny Cash )
The "noise of thunder" was refering to a jet engine.
The "four hissing snakes" are his loadout of four Sidewinders (which happens to be a snake, as i've learned two day ago only ...).
The "grey ghost" refered to the German AF's grey livery and the plane's American nickname of Phantom.
The F-4F will be a W-German CAT C air superiority fighter, armed with gun & 4 Sidewinders, and "parent" to the F-4F ICE.
The introduction of this plane as BDR's main 1975's fighter aircraft will allow another change to occur: the F-104G will be re-rolled in its more traditional role, that is ... Witwenmacher!

#5 (Sweden) RBS 90
My friends don't call me Murphy ...
And I'm no cop.
It may come as a bit of a shock to you,
But I was born after the Fall.
The Swedish RBS 90 is a 1990 prototype upgrade of the RBS 70, with more range and a faster missile, which can be fired from the same launcher.
#6 (Poland) Su-22M4P
Says she's 22, though she's only 17,
A pole that makes you dance,
when you're already turned on.
As has been guessed (from the start), Poland's new unit will be a Su-22M4P, armed with four Kh-25MP anti-radiation missiles for SEAD missions. Since USSR didn't export its SEAD missiles to its "comrade brothers" before 1984, it won't be a Cat C SEAD as some expected.
Yet, through some tweakings in the patch coming alongside the DLC, WP as a whole shall finally get a '75 SEAD plane ...
#7 (Canada) CF-18 Hornet
I'm into Queen and Sting, songs of my motherland,
Long expected, I finally arise to stand up to my evil twin.
CF-18 isn't actually a variant of the CF-188, but an alternate name for the same plane. They are therefore the very same plane, but with different loadouts: the new CF-18 will be armed with 4x AIM-9M Sidewinder & 2 AIM-7M Sparrow, and of course retains the gun.
As you can see on those screenshots, it has inherited the CF-188's white livery, and it is the latter, left untouched as a multirole aircraft, which will have its livery changed to a more greyish one.
#8 (Denmark) Centurion Mk.5/2-DK
In the heart of the battle they fight like lions with the strength of a hundred men.
From the sands of Judea to the Casbah of Algiers,
From the bush of Africa to the mountains of Korea,
They have fought most of Mankind’s battlefield.
And now, in the Northern wastes, they stand watch again …
#9 (E-Germany) Fla-SFL 23/4M
Dark as night,
Yet I fear the raven's flight.
Cry me a river,
But I'll burn snakes or swines with dazzling fire.
The Fla-SFL 23/4M is the E-German designation for the Soviet Biryusa, to which variant the NVA upgraded its Shilka fleet in the late 70's.
#10 (UK) Challenger 1 Mk.2
I am first and second.
Always ready for a brawl,
I can almost into space.
The Challenger 1 Mk.2 variant was similar to the original one, but for the addition of the TOGS (Thermal Observation & Gunnery System) allowing much improved accuracy. Being fielded in 1987, it is therefore a prototype, and fitted with better ammo than its ancestor.
#11 Norwegian LHV:
They are a militia unit to back up with numbers their regular brother-in-arms ...
#12 Czechoslovakian Strela-3:
CSSR actually fielded that weapon system within the timeframe (1984), so this omission is fixed.
