Because human wave tactics don't work as well as that and losing 4 kommandosi squads to a nighthawk is rather painful.

except when your stack of 4 infantry units totaling 40 men cost a whopping 20 points it doesn't really matter if they die. they are almost guaranteed to get you your points back. all it takes is a base T-55 to drive by and die from their AT launcher

It is quite stupid to put 4 squads in a single building or area of similar size (except with reservist squads). 2-3 squads per building is pretty optimal and covers the flanks way better.

Oh look, more French stuff, that's original. I play as Germany every time so I'm not really fussed what Britain get and don't get but even I think this is becoming a little more than unfair.
The most artificially-buffed faction in game, France possesses a number of delightfully fun units that I am terrible at using. Member of the "We should be a minor but the Dev Team like us" club. ~ Drang

I'm not a huge fan of ALB's super france either but nothing that's is being talked about in this thread is about France.

France isn't even getting that much out of this DLC, when was the last time cluster bombs did anything for you?

I really don't see the argument of french bias... Maybe I'm just not seeing it but I honestly think it's just not there. If its anything its because of the accuracy difference between the leo 1s and amx-30s... but thats being addressed.

Is "French bias" becoming some sort of stupid Wargame meme or something?

Also, you don't even know what unit the UK is going to get in the DLC. How can you criticize Eugen before their unit is revealed/the patch notes are released?
I will also point out that France (and the US) did not get a new unit in the Vox Populi DLC whereas the UK did. So much for the whole "more French stuff".

Do you know how many Haer an Su-24MP must kill to pay for itself?

Spoiler : :
23

....

23 Squads

It is literally cheaper to just buy more infantry instead of attempting to shoot down the planes*.

(In the short term, in the long term a critical mass of bombers will eventually kill all of your inf)
If there's two kinds of players, those that like challenges and those that want a fair game, pubstomps should make everyone happy.
