I just remembered that before I started to play RD I loved playing ALB. So I reinstalled it and it is impossible to find a ranked game in reasonable time if at all.
To everybody who is complaining about RD (for good reasons I say), just come back to ALB. It's still an awesome game and I need someone to play against.
Let's all play ALB until (if ever) the devs fix RD.
Guys please come back to ALB
Re: Guys please come back to ALB
Moved? I'm not addressing the people who are already playing ALB. This thread has nothing to do with ALB.
I'm really losing my patience. You lost a fan, Eugen.

Re: Guys please come back to ALB
I understand your point completelly but I dont think you will make players to get back to ALB.
There are things which RD is way better at than ALB.
I personally prefer ranked. If there wont be ranked I think I wont be playing EE so long nor even get to ALB.
However, ranked in RD is poisoned by problem where every competetive player has to put only limited types of units, otherwise, his deck wouldnt be competetive anymore.
I remember one of my last games on ranked in RD: I was playing against a guy who was clearly better than me, but he lost because he was playing Soviet deck, while me BLUFOR. Example is that I still dont understand how is possible to keep a mechanism where SAS can kill SU25 on one hit. Yes, my SAS that game shot down armoured plane just with one shot - I watched a replay.
As long as there wont be any huge balance fix and other than BLUFOR mixed deck viable to play, I wont play it.
Only sometimes I group with my friends to make some pubstomping easy resting game. Otherwise I am not playing that game on competetive level until get fixed.

Yeah they look more and more like EA with every word they say or action they take.
It's really depressing since WRD has the potential beyond both previous Wargame titles but ridiculous policies such as "no model fixes"(Among others don't get stuck on this.) makes for devs that come across like they really DGAF.
On topic, I'd join you but if it was only two of us- I hate 1v1.

Asking people to come back to ALB = has nothing to do with ALB?
Amazing logic.
Also, No.

Making major new content for free makes them look like EA?

EA is publisher, not a developer like Eugen systems.
Its like comparing apples with onions.

Ya, I went back to ALB and it feels so good.
Now all my friends are trying to drag me back to RD. I pretty much only play for their company now.

I wish all the people who went back to ALB went back to the ALB forum too.
