I have high wishes for games, but the current state of strategy games (No C&C, bad Stronghold, almost no living /compatible multiplayer of older succesful games, makes my shiny game library look pretty dusty.
There are so many candidates for good new games, that dont exist, that are not anymore usable, or not anymore playable, due to missing people (to play in a sophisticated way), or incompatible technology.
So about when Act of War came in, I have seen that a living multiplayer community is more valuable than which exact game is played.
The issue about asking for certain settings, including their country, which timeline is better, or arguing with single units, is what I would also like to have...
Can the topic ever be solved? Shall I pass a good RTS for this?
Right now, I hope for many things getting realized in wargame, which seem to come... but much slower than I would like it to be.
If a feature is not on the right place as I would like it to be, I have now seen, that this is not a neverchanging missed story, but that those changes will still come, if not voluntarily, I will force somebody sooner or later to include things
And with community work, you can help to unite the people, which is especially useful in wargame, because the topic can be both enjoyable and toxic, depending on how you pronounce the aspects.
I dont like the WW2 topic at all, but I like a quality game. A raw steak is very ugly to eat, but a steak that is finished to the end, is good, I can live with the topic.
I thought already in the year 2000 that WW2 is over and every derp knows it well-enough and the story is finish, now lets go on to the next topic, but somehow, the scar still seems to burn, and it is a matter in the people's life. And again and again, people produce new games about it. So lets finish the good steak to the end and eat one more of it, it seems.
At least we have a new living RTS title.
Lets see if we can play it until the end of the world this time
