Also an amoury would still be awesome to compare, sort, etc units..

Re: Pic of Map in creating game
I've been meaning to make a Steam guide with screenshots of all the maps since nobody else has done it yet, but it's kind of a pain given that A) every single map has multiple size variants, B) it's impossible to tell the game which side you want to start on (for consistency's sake in the images), C) there's currently no way to hide the UI mid-match that I know of which means you have to load a skirmish and then load it as a replay to get a clean image, and D) most importantly I'm hella busy this summer and don't really have the time for it.
But yeah, while I like the art done for each map (really, it's nice), most of them are pretty uninformative. A picture of the map itself would have been preferable.

Yes, please include map previews. This was a great feature in Red Dragon just like the "Back" button when in a game lobby to be able to see the entire game list. Bring both these features back, please!

Wouldn't it be nice if you could have a large preview of the selected map in question in place of the giant toxic chat window?
Re: Pic of Map in creating game
Yeah, I'm not sure why they took those two features away. There's little use in looking at art instead of the map itself. I often base my division on the map being played but it's a pain to learn the maps when you can't see them easily. Someone has put together images of all of them over on STEAM, but we shouldn't need to do that. The maps should be easily visible in game like they were in Red Dragon.
Re: Pic of Map in creating game
I don't understand why it wouldn't have all the features of Red Dragon, as it was slowly improved from EE to WA to RD

Re: Pic of Map in creating game
you may want to take a look at this jewel, done by Naizarak:
This mod shows, that it´s definitely NOT impossible to get map-images into a lobby.
So let´s hope, this feature will get implemented in the game as a standard feature, soon.
Also the additional distance-rings in the show-view-distances-tool-when-i-press-C-thing (what ever it´s proper name may be) are a good idea.
Test it, guys!

Thanks for pointing it out! I'll definitely give it a whirl this week!
